The IP1000 windows 7 driver is already included with your Windows installer. Use your Control Panel-> Printer to add the driver. In the printers window, right-click add printer, click Local printer, choose port, choose USB, choose Canon for manufacturer and then find IP1000. Alternatively you could try plugging the IP1000 if Vista will detect it and simply automatically install the driver.
