What lens can I use the the Nikon N6006 35 mm SLR Camera?

The Nikon N6006 will use just about any Nikon F-mount lens made in the past 55 years. About the only exceptions are some rare (and very expensive) fisheye lenses and the newer DX lenses specifically designed for digital cameras.

Someone asked me to take photos with my Nikon D90. I have the 18-105mm lens that I got with it. Is this able to take 'wide angle' photos?? I know there are special lenses made specifically for wide...

The 18-105mm lens at the 18mm end of the zoom range is a pretty fair wide-angle lens. Look through the viewfinder and turn the zoom ring (the big wide ring at the front of the lens) one way and then the other. The 105mm end is the view that looks like you're using binoculars, the 18mm end is the view that looks like you're using binoculars backward.

What kind of cameras will nikon 120mm fit?

It's a specialised lens used only for large format cameras used by professionals where 120mm is considered to be a very wide angle lens.

It's not usable on any Nikon SLR's nor on any medium format models.

Sold privately, and in perfect condition the lens is worth around £250-£350 depending on how much the buyer wants it. From a retailer the price is around £500 (these are UK prices, in the USA they'll be around 25-30% lower).

Specifically, what do I need to do to fix double vision in my 10-x25 Cabela's wide angle binos? I believe they were dropped.

If they are expensive binocs I would take them to a camera shop for a repair estimate. If they are somewhat inexpensive I would just replace them. They might be bent or the prisim damaged or an internal lens that has came loose.

Sorry, wish the news was better.

I was wondering, are all quantaray lenses interchangeable? I got a quantaray dakota camera, and it says it has interchangable lense capabilities. Does that mean that any lens called quantaray can fit on...

No. Quantaray makes a wide range of lenses, with a wide selection of mounts. This is because the various camera manufacturers like Canon, Nikon, and Pentax have proprietary mounts. A Quantaray lens for Canon will not fit on a Nikon, for example. You need to specify the mount when you buy your lens.

Lens for Nikon D60

I will try to help you, but please understand that my experience is with Nikon film cameras. Assuming that the D60 works in a manner similar to a Nikon 35 mm body and that Sigma macro lens work like Nikon macro lens, you should be able to determine the usable subject to lens distance by experimentation. First, make sure the lens is in the macro mode. To do this you must set the auto-focus mode control to the manual focus mode (see your manual). On Nikon lenses, you must first set the focus ring to infinity, then move slider switch, which has two positions marked; "normal" and "macro., to the macro position. You should now be able to rotate the focus ring to the macro range. Use the zoom ring to zoom in and out and focus with the focus ring. The the range over which the lens to subject to lens distance will yield an in focus image will be rather limited and in the range of an inch or so to 6 or 8 inches.

Zoom range 14-17mm

make sure the diffusion dome and the built in wide angle adaptor are off. If the diffusion dome is on, it will only work as 14mm and 17mm without the diffuser but with the wide angle panel.

Lens focusing problem

Dropping a camera is no laughing matter.  I assume you have severely damaged the wide angle lens, and the only solution I have it to purchase another one.   Certainly if the front element fell out that is serious and there are probably other things wrong with the lens, and continued use of it could damage the camera body.   Just be more careful and chock it up to experience and buy a new lens. Sorry to hear about your accident.   Good luck.

Blurred Pictures

1. What is the focal length of lens you are using? 2. Is the blur occurring with lens with a lower focal length than the telelens? 3. Do you still get a blur when you use the telelens with a tripod or a firm base? Regards Raman
