Re: uploading pictures back onto my camera
Hey hapurves, Uploading your images should not remove the images from your memory card. If your images are no longer on your memory card the card has most likely been formatted. You could try connecting the memory card to your laptop with a card reader and under My Computer right click on the icon for your memory card and select open. Now you could try copying the images you want back on the memory card and pasting them into a folder on the memory card. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.

this is a very odd problem, I have the same camera and it works fine, your best bet is to buy a usb SD memory card dongle. they are about 14 dollars, this will solve your problem with the photos, but I don't know why your camera won't work properly with the cable., have you tried it with the cable on your friends computer?
Internal Memory: 32MB SD Card / SDHC Card (Up to 4GB support) Possible that internal memory is empty and your are transfered zero file.Switch to external SD memory in your camera menu should take care of the problem.Get the SD card reader is your easiest option. just copy and paste the photos to my picture in your computer.
It is has a memory card (and which recent camera does not have a card?), take the card out from camera, insert it into a computer media slot (SD, MMC, SDHC, MemoryStickPro, etc.) compatible with the card (or a 5 in 1). Once it is recognized by the computer, locate on the card the folder where the pictures are usually stored (DCIM or something else). Then copy pictures from your computer and paste them in the relevant folder on the card.
Explore the camera software and see if it can transfer files from the computer to the camera.
If I understand you correctly, you put pics onto the SD card using the computer, then put the card in the camera and now can't see the pics? Is that correct? The camera won't recognize the pics because it uses a different recording system than the computer. Now if you want to take more pictures using that card, you will need to format it in the camera first.
Usually when you take pictures using NO SD card you can't take the picture, however in this case the pictures you took are stored in a memory bank temp only to test the picture your actually taking. In the manual what's the size of the built in memory card? Usually it's small amount of memory built in
