If you don't have your router password then you will have to reset your router back to factory specs. There is a small hole on the side of the router near the power cord that has a reset button . Use an unbent paper clip or a tooth pick to depress and hold this button for 10 seconds. This will set your router to a new name and leave it open until you re enter the data to make it safe. If you down load any software be sure that it is for the right version
