The light on the top left of nokia e63?? what is that for? and when does it work??

it isn't a light, it's a sensor so when you're using your phone in the dark it lights the keypad up so you can see what you're typing.

Im trying to fix my nokia e63. it fell in the water. i opened it and cleaned it with methyleted spirit and dried it with a hot air station. now if i insert the battery, it lights the keypad leds and...

by using tester,check the voltage if there's a shortage. try to check/clean light/keypad ic/coil,use a magnifying lense to trace it some components are still corroded. use ultra sonic solution to clean the entire board. also keypad flex as well if some parts are broken or damage...

Nokia e71 keypad light wont stay on

Hello,

All the E series phone have an sensor which detects low light and make the lights on of keypad.i have nokia e63 which does the same thing. keypad light cannot be kept on with any setting

Nokia e63 keypad light not display

It ispossible that this can be ahardware issue so check if there was any chance of water or moisture that has crept into the keypad. If so dry out, check for visible damage to the LED's, if non eo fhte LED's light up it can be a common rail and switch point which has lost out, maybe a break or a driver failure that needs to be probed.

I have e63 phone keypad lock not unloak

Steps to Unlock a Nokia E63 1. Insert a valid SIM card.
2. Power on your Nokia phone.
3. Type, PW+(UNLOCKCODE)+1# on your keypad where (UNLOCKCODE) is your 8-digit unlock code.
4. Hit enter
5. Nokia E63 should display “SIM Restriction Off”
6. Enjoy your newly unlocked E63

My nokia E63 wont start up. the screen just lights up dark for a few seconds and then turns off by itself. i tried charging it, but the square keypad just lights up.

Take the battery, sim card and microSD card out for an hour or so then place the components back in the phone. If this doesn't work, go to www.nokia.com and download the firmware for your phone via instructions on the Nokia web site.
