Hi,

This is a common problem on Whirlpool washer dryer. It sounds as though your control may be a little confused or faulty. Try unplugging the washer and the plugging it back in about 10 minutes later. If there are no flash codes and there is nothing happens - i.e no beeping or noise, more likely control board is at fault and needs replacement. On few occasions, the small plastic piece behind the start button is missing. However, these are the main 2 probabilities.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

    Thanks for your response!!

Unfortunately, other the unplugging and replugging, there is no reset on this machine that i am aware of. If some other lights would have been flashing or control is locked, there are certain reset options. But, if the control pad is dead, other than opening the machine and checking the ribbon to make sure that it is not damaged, there is no other option. Be advised on few occasions, the small plastic piece behind the start button is missing.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

    Hope i helped you.

Hi

To reset turn the program selector to "Off/0" and select the "Drain Spin" program to remove the water remaining in the bowl before the door can be opened. If this won't solve the issue then you'll have to replace the control. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

My washing machine says control locked

Hello there
Try putting the machine into diagnostic mode. If it won't enter diagnostic mode, then you need to replace the main control board.

DIAGNOSTIC TEST

The washer must be empty and the control must be in the OFF

state before pressing the touch-pad sequence to start the test.

Starting the Test Mode

? Close the door.

? Push CONTROL/ON (if present on this model).

? Select the DRAIN/SPIN cycle.

? Select NO SPIN by pressing the SPIN SPEED touch-pad.

? Push PREWASH OPTION four times within five seconds. (If

PREWASH OPTION is not present on this model, press EXTRA

RINSE four times within five seconds.) C:00 will light up on the

display.

If the Starting procedure fails, push the PAUSE/CANCEL touch-pad,

then repeat the starting procedure.

Test Program Control

In order to advance to the next step of the test procedure, push

PREWASH OPTION touch-pad two times. If PREWASH OPTION is not

present on this model, press EXTRA RINSE two times.

Our Kenmore Elite Dishwasher has a blinking green light next to the clean cycle. It won't reset. We changed the motor and this has been going on ever since. Do you know what we need to do to fix it....

Hello

Blinking green light can be reset by following two buttons in sequence: press HIGH TEMP WASH-HEATED DRY buttons in sequence around 3-4 times so that the control reset itself. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Canon ip1600 showing message that waste ink absorber is almost full and stops the printing process. How to correct?

First you need to remove that inpad carefully from under the cassettes. Press power on so cartridges move out. Pull out ppower cord to prevent it going back to base. Using tweezers, remove the pad. noting how it is positioned. You can use a few drops of bleach and water to soak the pad in to remove the ink. Then pat it dry between two rags and use a hair dryer to fully dry it. Take care not to burn it.

Then, replace it. Repower the machine.

Now follow this sequence to reset the counter.

2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.

Never heard of an F2 on that machine. But give this a try.

Performing a Fault Reset 14 will reset your WorkCentre and will help to clear error codes.
  1. Find the pink Clear button on the Control Panel of the WorkCentre.
  2. Find the button below the word Auto.
  3. Press these buttons in the following sequence: [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] NOTE: All of the lights on the Control Panel should go out and the LED Display should go blank. If the lights do not go out, then repeat step 3 until they do. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the pace of the [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] sequence.
  4. Press the [10's] key one time and the [1's] key four times to enter '14' in the LED Display, as if you were to make 14 copies.
  5. Press the green [Start] button.
  6. Press the pink [Clear] button two times.
  7. The WorkCentre should now warm up and come to ready.
  8. If the above steps do not clear the error code, repeat steps 3 to 6 a second time.
