Please do the following:

1) Take out the NDS cards and start up DS without them

2) Tap the symbol in the middle of the screen at the bottom that looks like a DS.

3) Tap the blue box with a calender and clock in.

4) Change the date a month or two back.

5) Restart DS with NDS cards in.

6) Done!

My nintendo has got a problem for a few months now. when turn on the power button, it has given an error messagge "an error has occurred. press and hold the power button to turn the system off....

If the following error message appeared in your DSi or DSI XL: "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER button to turn the system off...", It means that your Nintendo has been updated (by the Internet) to the version 1.4.2 (or 1.4.3) or you bought it updated. In this case your DSi XL or DSi doesn't work with any flashcard in the market.

If you don't have an updated flashcard, the solution requieres both "updating the kernel of your flashcard" and also "patching it". I hope it helps you.

Not working USB data travelter 4 GB message error is USB device not recognized plz solved this problem and send me best clarification.

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
The error you quoted can be due to multiple reasons. Following are some main Possibilities, that you should keep in mind.

Make sure, the USB port, you are inserting data traveler in, is in working condition. And you are connecting the device properly.
This could happen due to Software conflict, for this you need to remove all the devices connected to USB ports (other than keyboard, and Mouse) and need to restart the system.. Moreover, you can check for the exact error, in the device manager list...
Try checking the data traveler, on some USB port, on which you are sure, that its working properly.
Check for the possibilities, quoted above and do let me know....
Concerned.

I got the following message on my dsi: "A error

"An Error Occurred. Press and hold POWER to turn the system off."
When do you see this error?

  1. If you see this error while playing a Nintendo DS game card game:
There are no known issues that create this error with any Nintendo DS game card games. Our experience shows that if you see this error, your game is likely a counterfeit product. To test your Nintendo DS game card, try this testing tip:

      • Try playing the game in a Nintendo DS Lite or a Nintendo DS (original style).
        • If the game still does not work, it's more likely the game card is defective and will need to be replaced.
        • If the game works in either a Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite, our experience shows that the game is likely a counterfeit product.

  2. If you see this error when there is no Nintendo DS game card inserted into your system:
      • If you have not already done so, power the system off and then back on to see if this resolves the issue. If the issue persists after the system has been powered down, please call our Consumer Department at 1-800-255-3700 to speak to one of our representatives.

Nintendo DSi reads. "An error

Hello,

Does this error occur when you play a certain game or all games? Or maybe it comes up when you first turn on the DSI? More details are always helpful, however, you can try some of the following tips to see if you can resolve the error.

-Try removing the battery for a couple of minutes then replacing it.
-If this is caused by just one of your games, then that game is most likely damaged.
-If possible, install the latest firmware to your DSI which may resolve the issue.
-Your DSI may still be under warranty support, and I would recommend contacting Nintendo for repairs. Phone 1-800-255-3700

No compatible access point in range - error code 51099

The Following website lists your Error Code. Per Nintendo:
"Likely cause: It appears that the settings entered into the Nintendo DS are not compatible, or the router's broadcast settings should be changed.
How to fix: Try creating a new connection with your system. Nintendo DSi owners trying to play multiplayer games will want to be sure to read the "Trying to play online multiplayer with Nintendo DSi."

When open the machine, the screen appears "SD card

This is the error message you get when you install a card that may be having a file system that the console does not recognize or when you are using a card that is having a fault or system error in it.
The first thing you should watch out for is if your console detects the SD card. If it does, you can format it using the in-built format function on your console.
After that, The only way you can solve this problem is to obtain an SD card reader and use it to connect the SD card to your computer and do the following
Firstly, you have to use your anti-virus to scan it for any form of virus or malicious files that may be causing an error in the system.
Secondly, you can format the memory card by locating it under my computer and right-clicking. After that, you can select the format button and choose to do a quick format. Remember that you could loss all your data if you format your memory card.
This will help to remove any system errors that could be causing the SD card to malfunction.
Hope this was useful to you? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya.
