Odometer reading flickers on mini message center on ford f150

first thing you need to do (answering as an electronics engineer) is double check all connectors and cables to and from the display, and associates circuit boards. and make sure they are tight. Not being intimately familiar with the boards involved or the display itself, I cant suggest where to look in specific, but it is also possible that you have a bad solder connection or two that need to be redone. SO you may need to spend some time with a good illuminated magnifying glass, examining the boards involved.

I HAVE A WHITE SCREEN

White-screens are usually caused by software bugs, poorly written device drivers or might be the malfunctioning hardware.A web based application or a website written in PHP Language will display an empty white page in the browser under certain conditions. If the PHP installation suppresses error messages and encounters a fatal error before any output is produced, PHP will exit and return an HTTP response without content. The error itself may have a wide variety of causes, and can only be determined by reading the server's PHP log (if enabled), or altering the error reporting settings to display the error message.

What does (Exp) stand for or mean?

Exp stands for export. On cars sold outside the US instead of a written message on the message center on the dashboard it would say exp and a number. The owner can look up the number in their owners manual written in their language to read the message. GM did this instead of making the dashboard display in different languages. A dealer may be able to reprogram your car so it just displays the message. Hope that helps.

Hello!
This blank display is a common control board problem. If the buttons beep when pressed, then the control board is getting adequate power. If the buttons beep.. and your oven light still turns on when the oven door is open.. this a text book control board failure. We at Fixyourboard.com can solve this problem for you, and back the remanufacture with a two year warranty.

The sreen is black, and the monitor light is orange

This usually indicates an input problem. There are number of things to check:

Make sure the screen is plugged into a working output on the video card - if you can, test the video with a different screen.

Try a different cable; Swap for the same type of cable, or, if available, use a different output method(Such as HDMI).

If using an adapter on the cable, try using a different adapter.

Test the cable on a different display, if possible.

Ultimately, if the video card, cable, and connector are all working, or the display is still not, its likely a bad input board within the display - if you're savvy and have some time to kill, replacement boards cost between 20-70 bucks on ebay.
