Viewing screen lights okay. None of the buttons function.

You probably either have a bad connection between the touch pad and the main circuit board, or a component failure on the main circuit board.

Whenever I come across something like this, I always check the door switches for proper operation. Some ovens will not program if they have a switch failure.

Unless it's a door switch, or something else that's inexpensive to fix, I would suggest buying a new oven. 17 years old is quite old. Even if not used much, some components will fail simply due to age.

My maytag dishwasher's "clean light"

If this is a Whirlpool manufactured dishwasher, the blinking clean light is an interruption in the dishwasher program that usually indicates a component problem or program malfunction. If a component is defective, it is commonly attributed to the heating cycle or thermostat related problem. To rule out component failure, or program error, the following link explains how you may be able to clear the blinking clean light problem and possibly avoid a service call:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3575752-dishwasher_blinking_clean_light

Keep in mind all dishwashers are not alike and have different panel options. If you do not have the same set up that I have mentioned, the tech sheet for your dishwasher will explain the touch pad functions. The tech sheet is located behind the lower toe panel under the door and lists the proper sequence of buttons to push for diagnostics and troubleshooting. Just remove the screws that hold the panel in place and remove.

NOTE: Sometimes the tech sheet is located behind the inner door panel. You will need to remove the screws securing the inner panel to access it if this is the case. Make sure you turn off the main power breaker before doing so.

In many cases, I found this to be a momentary glitch in operation. If the problem keeps reoccurring the number of flashes is an indication of WHICH circuit is causing your problem. As all dishwashers differ in operation and features, refer to your tech sheet for the recommended troubleshooting steps.

NOTE: Some dishwashers use the Sani-Rinse/Air Dry combination, some use the Sani-Rinse/Heated Dry combination. Some use a sequence of three, others use a sequence of 5 pushes of the buttons. If the tech sheet is not located behind the lower toe panel, it should be affixed somewhere under the dishwasher. I have also found them located inside the inner door panel.

Microwave refuses to work when START button is pressed. Oven light stays on when door is closed. Control panel seems to be working ok but nothing happens after cooking settings are set and START button...

That's probably a failed door switch or door switch mount.

It's a pretty simple do it yourself fix. See this helpful file on door switches.

You can find handy exploded views and order parts by model number here.

But if your cooktop lights failed recently, you have a damaged control circuit board, which we can usually repair for $39.95. Details are here.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

I have a bosh dishwasher that has not drained of water and the tap light is red on the indicator board

Hello there:
Drain line/air gap A clog in the drain line or air gap (if there is one) is the usual reason that a dishwasher won't drain. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. If you remove this line, you can clear any debris from the hose or hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Pump Your dishwasher pump ejects the water. The pump is usually mounted directly to the motor, then attached to the bottom of the dishwasher. You can reach the pump from inside the dishwasher, but first you need to remove the lower rack, the spray arm, and the spray arm support. Look for an impeller--a round plastic fan blade-type of device that spins around. This is the wash impeller, which forces the water through the spray arm. Beneath the wash impeller is the drain impeller, which is similar in size and shape to the wash impeller. The drain impeller pushes the water toward the drain port. These components make up the pump. If any of the pump components are defective, you need to replace them. Drain valve and/or solenoid Many dishwashers use a drain valve with an electric solenoid. When electricity flows to the solenoid, the valve opens and diverts the water to the drain. Sometimes the solenoid, or the diverting lever, sticks and prevents the dishwasher from draining or filling properly. Try to free up the solenoid to lubricate the lever. Otherwise, you may have to replace the solenoid or pump assembly. With these systems, the motor always rotates in one direction. When it's energized, the drain valve diverts the water. Other dishwashers simply reverse the direction of the motor to drain the dishwasher. These units don't have a drain valve. Instead, there's a drain hose connected directly to the pump housing.
If the motor isn't turning or working, the unit won't drain. Some dishwashers are susceptible to getting stuck if you don't run them regularly. I you may need to manually spin the motor to free it up. If the motor is defective, you need to replace it. Timer Part of what the timer does is control the motor and drain valve. If the timer doesn't work properly, the water may not drain and you need to replace the timer. This problem is uncommon.

Constantly beeping with lock signal on

Sounds like you have a defective/stuck switch associated with the door lock mechanism. There are 4 and possibly 5 interlock switches. Simply operating the switches may enable you to locate the problem switch. You will have to remove about 10 screws to remove the top cover, to gain access to the interlock.

Best of luck.

The camera is not turning on. The lens is out when it should be inside when its turned off. It keeps beeping when i try to turn it on but it will not switch on.. constantly beeping.

Sounds like you've got a lens error and the beeps are signaling your lens is stuck. With the camera laying on its back, try tapping the lens ring while pressing the start button. You may just luck out. It's about all you can do without taking your camera apart.
