What does P1 mean

t appears to mean "defrosting." In other words, the condenser coils have gotten too cold and are icing up..

The filter is probably full, or the thermostat is faulty. Open it up and clean the filter first.

DEHUMIDIFER WONT START

empty the tank, and clean the dust off of the condenser in the front or clean the filter. if it still won't turn on, may have a bad sensor or a siezed compressor.

I have an midea mpk- 10 cr model that is blowing out warm air. and i cleaned the air filter. what do I do to make cool air come out

First make sure that the compressor is running. You should be able to hear it when it is running. If it is not running then have it checked to make sure it is getting the proper voltage. If it is but not running you may need a new start capacitor or possibility that you need a new compressor.I would also check freon to make sure it has enough to make it work Thank you.

How to replace or clean the filters also im trying to find a manual for this humidifier.

To remove and clean the filter: Turn the unit OFF & unplug it. Remove the water bucket and set it aside. Just under the front of the dehumidifier where you removed the bucket you will see a plastic handle. Pull down on it gently and filter will come out. Wash it with warm water and dry thoroughly, before reinstalling it in the dehumidifier. It is recommended that you clean the filter a minimum of once every 2 weeks.

As far as an Owners Manual is concerned. The following link will take you to it and you can download and print it for future reference.

Hope this helped you. Please be kind enough to let me know. Thanks.

Hoffwell Air Conditioner KFR 61GW turned itself off

You may want to check the thermocouple. It should be located on the front coil. You have to remove the front cover to see it. However, close the vents and try it. If is overly humid that front coil will just condense all available outside humidity and the thermostat will be frozen. Pull the thermo stat away from the coil so it is not being frozen. Replace TC after that test Good luck.

I have another of their dehumidifiers, the MDF1-30AE. The first time the P1 came on, the unit stopped, because the filter needed cleaning. Recently P1 came on but the unit didn't turn off, and I had already cleaned the filter, so I phoned Midea customer service at 1-866-646-4332. The man told me P1 means it's in defrost mode and said to just leave it on and the P1 will eventually go away. It's been a while though....
