Have you tried both ram slots with the new RAM?

    What brand is the RAM,

What exactly happens with the new RAM in? Does the PC boot at all? Can you get to the BIOS screen?

Have you gone into BIOS and selected "load optimised" settings?

There are two typess of  RAM   one is DDR1  and  DDR2

is that same  type of RAM   , check it   other type will not work     ..... ok

it is better to take  same type of RAM...
u should say   the mother board  company and  model number   to  seller......

OK 3 beeps indicates memory failure - specifically the first 64K but that is not surprising.

Have you tried to put the 256M RAM in slot 1 and the 512M in slot 2?

If this does not work try the following.

There is NO "load optimised" option in this BIOS according to the MANUAL

refer pages 42 - 45 of the manual and remove the BIOS battery and check it is OK. the voltage should be 3VDC. IF not replace it.

Removing the BIOS battery for a few minutes will clear the BIOS and reset to default settings.

You will need to go into BIOS and set date/time.

Please post results so I may assist further if required

Another option is to UPDATE the BIOS to latest revision

What version BIOS are you running?

If this does not help then perhaps the Blitz RAM is just incompatable with your board as it is not listed as validated on the intel website.

BTW thanks for the **** rating after I spent so much time to help YOU you coould have at leats given me a "thanks for helping" :-(

I need to know how much ram my motherboard will be able to run without burning up? I have an Emachines t1090 w/ Windows XP, 900MHz Intel Celeron Processor, 128MB SDRAM, CD-ROM 48x Max. CD-Drive, 20GB Hard...

The max for your system is 512MB. You have two memory slots and one has a 128MB chip so if you want 512MB, you need two 256MB chips and throw away the 128MB.
At Newegg, a 256MB chip is $42+ shipping of $1. I'd consider getting a new computer instead.
I don't think memory upgrade will tax your system cooling.

I want to upgrade my PC's RAM from 128 to 512 MB Is is possible to add only single RAM or two 256 MB RAM?

Depending on your mobo, you can do either, add one stick of 512MB or two sticks of 256MB. If you're sure you get matching sticks if your mobo is DDR capable.

I am not certain of your processor, but 512MB ram is NOT enough. I GB minimum, 1 GHz Processor. Look here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/system-requirements.aspx
