You would have not removed packing bushes below the compressor. Remove it. And also Collar screws not over tighten. When compressor cut in and cut off, there will be jerking. To give flexibility for the shake. your collar screws must not be over tightened. Thanks.

the compressor that pumps up the air suspension does make a horrid noise, and if you can turn it off, like I could in my crown vic, just long enough to see if that is indeed the compressor making the noise you hear, then try that. My switch was located in the trunk.

I have cleaned the carby, replaced the spark plug and replaced the air filter, which was soaked in oil. It is 3 month old 4stroke briggs and stratton. When i pull the starter it makes a clunking noise...

sounds like it threw a rod or something take the spark plug out hold ur finger over the hole and crank it and see if it blows ur finger off the hole if it dont then its either broke a ring or threw a rod (probably the clunking noise u hear)

When i put my ear monitors on i only hear on one side i bought a nother pair of ears but now when i sing the music in my ear cuts out?

You may have bought "noise cancelling" ear buds and those cancel out local noise... NOT the type you want for this application !!!

The wires to earbuds are really tender and easily damaged... Make sure the replacement earbuds are the right type for use with your wireless... if necessary, call the vendor to verify.

I have a 100 series landruiser which is making a bad ticking type noise on start up ,it sounds like it is coming from the water pump or the air con compressor but not really sure.It stops making noise...

try this, when you change the engine oil and use a flushing oil before you finally fill with 10/40 semi synthetic, add stp/wynns oil additive or molyslip. the ticking is possibly a sticky cam follower(they are self adjusting with oil pressure)the water pump/air con comp cannot "tick"but they can squeel.....

The water pump is makin the car make a squeaky noise, thats what they tell me...can the water pump really be the reason for my car making a noise?

it could for a couple reasons. it could be a bad bearing in the pump, which will usually make a groan or grinding, or it could be leaking coolant onto the belt, causing the belt to squeek. these are a fairly common failure. good luck!

I have a loud engine noise--somewhat high pitch whine--except really loud and only after so many rpms. The noise happens when I am running my air conditioner. Ten to 15 miles after I first noticed the...

So when you turn off the air con the noise stops ..
If yes then its the bearings in the Air Con pump which is driven by the same belt and when turning the r13 coolant around the bearings being dry and worn out will start to make the noise Same as the water pump does when it goes, but yours is Air Con Pump.

No sound coming out of right ear

Since these are just a month or so old, it is probably a warranty issue and should be able to resolved by the manufacturer - or in some cases by the store if they accept returns inside of the time you've own them.

If you no longer have the sales slip or are unable to provide documentation for warranty work, you might be able to make a repair your self if you can do some simple soldering. Locate to point on the cable where when disturbed, the sound cuts in and out. This is a likely point of a damaged or broken wire. Cut the cord just above the point of damage - closer to the ear buds. Use a meter or test light to determine which wire goes to which part of the old plug (you might have to cut the end of the cable a little shorter so that you are not trying to test through the broken wires). Buy a replacement plug that matches the original at a Radio Shack or similar type store and reconnect to match the original set up (as determined by the testing earlier) If it the ear bud cable is too short, you could purchase an extension cable that has a match plug on one end and jack on the other.

Of course you could always just cut the "bad part" of the cable out (an inch or two should probably do it) and reconnect and cover the wires in a method of your own choosing and be done, too.
