Question about Nokia 2730 Cell Phone
if you are really certain that your phone's memory is empty, most probably your phone's internal memory is corrupted. you can also check it in the phone's memory status at the "phone settings".
if it is really empty and showing memory full. here's what you can do by yourself.
1. switch off your phone and remove that battery for about a minute and put it back.
2. switch on the phone and restore your phone to factory settings found at he "phone setting" menu.
3. default security code is 12345 if you havn't change it.
4. wait for the phone to reset and try playing mp3.
if problem persist, you need to reprogram your phone and we will be needing special gadget to do this and cost a lot. my advice is to have it reprogram to your nearest service center (it is for free if it is still under warranty) or repair shop.
hope i helped you!
