SOURCE: how to change memory in the nb 305 toshiba netbook

the memory flap is on the underside of the laptop, rectangular in size, about the size of 2 large fingers, open that with a screwdriver, release the catches on the two sides of the ram chip at the same time and it should lift up at a 40 degree angle, pull it out, PUT THE NEW ONE IN AT THE SAME 40 DEGREE ANGLE - OR YOU WILL DAMAGE THE CONNECTORS. make sure it's fitted snugly, then push it down, peace, abz

Touchpad doesn't work on Toshiba Satellite 305 PSAGU-03601V

to use it again press those keys to enable..if it does not work ..just go to device manager ..and click on the pad ..and enable it (click right )
to get there click on my computer icon (right ) ..and select properties and in there select hardware and device manager ..
In the list you will find the pad under user interface devices..
If it appears in yellow and have a exclamation sign on it ..it means it has no driver installed and you need to run the driver again ..I would run the driver anyway cause this operation will also enable it ..and it may be much easier for you ..

Toshiba M35 S320 touch control buttons have stopped working. How do I fix it?

The TouchPad is enabled by default. To change the enable/ disable TouchPad setting: 1 Click Start, Control Panel. The Control Panel window appears. 2 Click Printers and Other Hardware. 3 Click the Mouse icon. 4 Click the TouchPAD ON/OFF tab. The TouchPAD ON/OFF tab view window appears. 5 Select Disable or Enable, whichever is appropriate. 6 Click Apply. 7 Click OK. The Mouse Properties window closes. 8 Close the Printers and Other Hardware window. 9 Close the Control Panel window.
However, still if it does not work, you need to download drivers for touchpad. Here is link to download the drivers for touchpad. Under the "All categories link choose Touchpad"

Synaptics touchpad not working

Have you looked at the Device Manager to see if there's a problem with the touchpad?

Start -> Control Panel -> System -> click on Hardware tab -> click on Device Manager button. Do you see anything that indicates a problem with the touchpad?

Also, you might want to check the BIOS to see that the touchpad is still enabled. I doubt that this setting would have changed, but it's worth checking. When you boot the computer you should see a message that says something like: "To enter setup press XXX" where XXX is the delete key or some other key. Once you're in the BIOS poke around to see if you can find the settings for the Touchpad. Different manufacturers use different BIOS' so I cannot tell you exactly where to look.

Good luck.
