Copy quality from my sharp AR 275 copier keeps fading away. I have replaced the drum. I cannot locate the corona wire. where is it located.

No corona wire is there on this model, you can find one saw teeth like portion inside the main charger it serves the purpose of corona wire you can find the charger assembly on the drum unit, you try to clean the charger assembly by washing it and drying it buy the sun light, better to replace the maincharger, drum, cleaning blade, and developer together. Call for service u2-40 sharp ar 275

CRUM chip communication trouble = the chip on the toner cartridge is faulty.

1, Try to clear the code press P, *, C, *, to enter the service simulation, on the key pad press 1,6, then the copy start, press execute on the screen.

2, Change the toner cartridge.

If it is a brand new one return to supplier as faulty, if it is a refilled new one take back to supplier (the CRUM chip serves as a genuine supplies protection for sharp and 'blows' when the toner is empty the re-filler will have to put a new chip on it)

Paper jams at the fusing unit on my Sharp AR 275

Very common problem in that copier. The fuser unit has little pawls which seperate the paper from the rollers, they can become dislodged when customers remove jams. Another very common problem is the gear that turns those rollers wears down internallly, to check this make a mark on the orange fuser roller with a sharpie. See if the mark moves from it's previous spot after trying to make a copy. These rollers turn every time the machine is used or is turned on.

Sharp AR-287 Copier Paper Jam

most copiers that have lcd screens, should you show you where the paper is. sometimes it may take getting down to look under a couple of guide plates. or just roll some of the rollers to get the paper to come out. all it takes a minute piece of paper to be sitting on a sensor for it to throw the paper jam message.
