Check whether the LCD screen is bad or not. The best way to do this is to take a picture and download it to PC. If the picture is good, then LCD is bad. Replace LCD. Cheapest way to replace is to do it yourself. Buy a junk camera through EBAY, which has good LCD. You may be able to find one very cheap. Buy a screwdriver set for $1 from dollar store. Remove the case by removing a few screws. Once the case is opened, LCD can be removed easily.
