SOURCE: The wire to my Nespresso

Hello,

cut off the melted part with a plyer or knife. Cut another wire (replacement) from any defective unit (electronics) in your home that you are no longer using. Attach the wire to the Nespresso D150 and you are done.

Or go to any electrical part store within your vicinity, purchase a replacement wire and attach it. Use a cello tape to cover the part of the wire(s) that you joined.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Good luck.

My whirlpool compact 123-00 is not vented is this against code and dangerous?

Dangerous, yes because it will put lint (flammable) into whatever area it is 'venting' into causing a hazard. Some people will buy a filter to attach the end of the dryer duct that will catch the lint. That stops the fire hazard but venting 'dryer' air into the living area is not (in my opinion) smart. You will still have small particles of lint escaping that the lint filter misses which will end up in you home and quite possibly in your lungs...no a good thing. :( Dryer vent needs to be vented outside.

Nespresso citiz won['t exit descaling mode

I had the same issue, and took it to the repair shop, where the guy did the same thing, just pressed both cup buttons for 3 seconds. It worked. He said the Lungo button had to be pressed a little harder, as it had some connection problem, and thats why it didnt work for me. If you have the same problem, the machine will start buzzing for about half a sec if you press the lungo button while in descaling mode.

There's a strong smell (fumes) coming from the printer. I felt high the first day and I had a funny feeling in my throat on one side. Some say it smells like a hot blow dryer or burning smell. I need to...

The odor is coming from what is called the 'fuser' which heats and bonds the toner to the paper stock. There may be some light residue from the manufacture of the fuser roller which is heated to a high temperature to enable the fusing to take place. It may linger for several days but is unlikely to be hazardous in nature otherwise Samsung wouldn't allow it to remain on the assembly. Laser printers often smell 'hot' due to this process but I have not heard of any hazard caused by fumes. One caveat though; the fuser roller is coated with Teflon or an equivalent coating. I nearly died from Teflon which was in a gaseous state many years ago but it was exposed to temperatures of greater than 450F which is dangerous since the effect is that of a nerve gas called phosgene. Since that is a temperature one can easily reach on a stove-top, we have NO coated cookware in our home.
If you notice that the plastic near the warmest place on your machine feels uncommonly hot, it might be best to shut it down since it may be possible for the thermostatic control to fail so the fuser is heated to an abnormally high temperature. I'm fairly sure there is a thermal fuse to prevent catastrophic failure but wouldn't count on it.

When system is on for few minutes we hear cracking noise then the system goes off

That sounds fire-hazard dangerous. Something is heating up to the point of failure. Don't leave it on unattended and get someone to look at it soon.

Can i order another magnet for my Nespresso Aeroccino maker?? I am referring to the little piece that fits under the lid.

Hi,
I would go to www.nespress.com website and and go to your country and then click on Nespresso Assistance Service on the top right. There should be a number to call that can assist you.
For example Australia is 1800 623 033 9am - 6pm.M-F.
Service is pretty good. Just have your Nespresso account number ready.
Cheers,
Paul
