When downloading a video from

When downloading a video from YouTube, the norm for my computer (dial-up) was starting and stopping (2-3 seconds at a time)until progress bar is complete.I would then be able to replay and enjoy video without it stopping. Recently all attempts to replay produce the same result: Video starts and stops even after progress bar has completed the entire download. No longer able to enjoy a video without it stopping every 2-s seconds. Any suggestions on how to fix? Thanks.
