Question about Philips Magnavox MWR20V6 DVD Recorder/VCR
Welcome to h***. There would be two setup buttons for a dual player, one for the VCR and one for the DVD player. You want the one for the VCR, which maybe towards the top of the remote. Your Player needs to be in VCR mode and your line in source on the TV Video Source button, needs to reflect the input from your VCR.
I hope that made some sense. Once you get this right, do it a few times more as its easy to forget its so unintuitive.

Apr 06, 2008 | Sony Blu-ray/dvd player BDP-S1
This fixes the *Set 1* problem. Set 1 means the remote cannot communicate with the Panasonic DVR. If the batteries go out on the remote replace the batteries stand in front of the Panasonic DVR, press and hold the "1" button and the *enter* button at the same time and hold for 10 seconds.
