Question about Maytag Neptune MAH9700 Front Load Washer
Disconnect power supply to unit then remove 2 10mm screws from washer back.
Slide the top cover towards the rear to clear the screw head from flange on the bottom side of the top cover.
Pull the dispenser drawer out completely then remove five screws attaching console as shown. Roll the console down and lift it I need instructions on how - jahn27_68.jpgher.
Open the door then expand the boot clamp spring located at the 6 o'clockI need instructions on how - jahn27_69.jpg remove the boot retaining clamp.
Pull the boot from the lip formedI need instructions on how - jahn27_71.jpgnt opening then remove the four screws attaching the top oI need instructions on how - jahn27_72.jpganel to the cabinet.
Lean the front panel forward then disconnect the wire harness to the door lock and switch asI need instructions on how - jahn27_74.jpg
Lift the front panel off the bottom brackets anI need instructions on how - jahn27_76.jpg of the way.
Loosen the boot clamp at the 12 o'clock positI need instructions on how - jahn27_77.jpgve the **** and the boot.
Install the new boot aligning the index tabs on it with the screws on either side of the fill tube.
Secure the boot with the clamp then reconnect the door lock and switch assembly harness and reinstall the front panel. Put the boot over the outer lip of the door opening then secure it with the boot retaining spring. Reinstall the console and the top cover in reverse order of the removal steps.

you need to first unplug the unit. next you need to remove 4 screws that hold the dispenser lid on. next open the door remove 4 screws. remove the door and the out side panel. next located to the top left and right you will see a bracket with a 5/16 bolt remove them and take the bracket off. next lift the lid. you will have access to the door seal. you will see a spring at the top that is the band that holds the seal to the tub. the front of the seal just peels off. when putting the band and spring back on may be a little tricky. get one side up to the top gett a piece of duct tape and secure it. so that you can properly get the rest of the band on without fighting with it. get some vise grips and pull the spring over and attach to the part that is tapped. let me know if this helps or if you need more instructions.
