Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines

1 Answer

I bought a 19 gal. hot water heater in March of 2008. Model EIF20USO15V. Product #0800130. It worked for 3 or 4 months and then stopped producing hot water. I pushed the reset button once and it works for 2 days and then quit. I pushed the reset button over and over again. Still does not work. What do you suggest? I couldnt find anything that was close to a hot water heater.

My initial thought is the thermal protector reset has had it last reset. the question is why does it keep tripping? you may have other problems.

Unplug or turn the power off. make a wiring diagram of how the wires go where. tag them with masking tape if you have to.

Now remove the reset and take it to your local Hardware store. they should have a compariable replacement, if not maybe they can recommend a plumber who would have it.

Best of Luck!
