The Fuse for these model is 110V - 250V, so definitely the machine will still light up for a moment then black out. So if you accidentally plugged it to 220V (if it is 110V) you have to change the whole PCB. Electric current are distributed by PCB which only handles 110V.

I suggest when you change the PCB try to change also the Fuse to 110V only so that next time if by accident it was plugged to 220V you just have to change the Fuse not the PCB.

How do you run a 110v dc mootor from 250v ac

im gonna guess you meant 110AC. a 220v line is simply 2-110 lines with a neutral wire. you could just use 1 of 110v lines and the neutral and wirenut the unused 110v wire. i strongly suggest you talk to an electrictan

Convert US 220V to European 220V

all you need to do is to purchase a power converter also known as transformer that converts the European 220v to110 v, so that American appliances will operate on European current.

Sir, I would like to ask if this samsung washing machine model Diamond Drum WA80V3 220V - 50Hz - 330W can be use in Cebu City, Philippines where the electricity power cycle running is 60Hz?

It should be fine but I'm not sure how it will work with the 220v. Be sure that the power there is 110v red to white and 110v black to white. If the power is not, it probably won't work. Good luck

I have a laundry center model 417.94802301 I lived in virginia and it was 110 volt power I moved where I live now and 220 volts like to know how do I use it here thanks

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Not by plugging it in direct!
You will need a transformer, or a more modern equivalent 'box' which will take the 220v supply you
have now and drop it down to 110V.
Try your local hardware or electrical store or look in your telephone directory under 'electrics'- hopefully you should find one from one of them ;-0)

Good luck,

I have a kenmore 99701 series combo w/d. they tell me they are all 110. told them 220. neeed to know for sure as cord was taken off and screws missing and loose. don't know for sure and if grounding is...

Well for sure the washer is going to be 110v. Only electric dryers are 220v!. If your dryer doesnt have a gas connection on it then it is a electric 220v dryer. If it has gas connection then it is 110v gas dryer. there is no such thing as a 220v gas dryer!!!.

I am trying to change a 3 prong dryer plug to a 4 prong

Hi,
You are correct, the green wire is ground. You may be able to connect to the same location as the green wire from the unit.
The white is neutral and the red and black are both 110V (your unit uses 220V).
Here is a link to a picture. I hope it helps:

Does the Maytag LSE7806ACE require a 220 plug?

If you hook it up to 120 volts (by connecting L2[red] to common [white] the dryer will operate, but your heating element will only produce 25% of the heat it would on a 220v circuit. The drying time would be about 3 hours, and the auto dry setting may not work. Heat difference is about 5000 watts of heat on 220v, vs 1250 watts on 120v circuit.
