2011 KTM 990 Adventure low beam blows and speedometer goes out

Hi, Anonymous if your headlight is not working, only one beam works, keeps burning out, blinking, or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, then check your head light bulb socket ground wire for a clean tight connection, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn down solder contacts or loose fit of the bulb base in the socket due to vibration.
3. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
4. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
5. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
8. Faulty headlight relay.
9. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
10. Weak charging alternator/generator.
11. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier ground or overcharging.

Is the pig tail assembly on rear of the isteam control replaceable. Mine has a broken pin from the male connector inside and we cannot get it out. Thanks

If the pin is hollow (as all I've seen) try a wire with a hook on the end, a very small screw or possibly a small screwdriver to be able to pull the pin out of the socket.

My washing machine drains, but when on a cycle the drum doesn't move at all and it doesn't go into spin mode?

Check the actuator for the lid switch to make sure it isn't bent or broken. To find the lid switch, look for a pin on the lid that goes through a hole in the top of the machine when the lid is closed. The lid switch actuator is under this hole. If you can't see the actuator lever through the hole, it's probably bent off to the side or broken off. It's also possible to see it, but it's bent down to far to be actuated by the pin. If the lid is bent or the pin is broken off, that would have the same effect.

INPUT2: HD15 keeps coming up on my screen. i cant get through it. do i need to buy new input2: HD15 cable? the monitor is sony make and the hardrive is fujitsu siemens computer make

more information is needed for this question to be answered properly
im going to guss that this is your conection cable from video card to your monitor
try disconecting and reconecting the cable making shur that the cable is firmly conected at both ends
its posible that part of the tower case is preventing the full insertion of the cable into the socket
cut away 1/8 inch of the ruber shielding around the pc side of the cable so that it can fully be inserted into the conection
check that the pins on the male conection arn't bent or broken off

also run your closed hand down the cable itself checking for cracks cuts or breaks in the cable

if any problem is seen replace the cable if any pins are broken off check the femal reciver for the broken of part of the pin so as to not damage anothere cord
good luck

How to install CPU- Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 into a asus barebone system P4-P5N9300pc please?

This particular CPU is not on the list of processors supported by this board. See "CPU Support List" tab:

ASUS P4-P5N9300 Spec

How to install Socket LGA 775 CPUs:

Lift up the cpu slot load plate (which covers the pins and also locks the cpu in place) and install the processor slowly, vertically and carefully into the socket without bending any of the tiny pins in the motherboard socket. Lock the load plate.

The advent of the LGA 775 form factor moved the tiny pins from the CPU to the motherboard socket. Great for Intel, not so great for motherboard manufacturers. Now bent pins are the responsibility of the board makers. Customers with bent pin problems are no longer contacting Intel.

No back light on screen

Hi there.
If the external monitor is working fine I'd disassemble the the screen again and reassemble it taking particular attention of the cable connectors and sockets.
Make sure all plugs are in the sockets nice and tight and also look at the motherboard socket for any bent pins.
You will need good lighting for the job and possibly even a magnifying glass.

Please post back if you need anymore help.

Good luck

External hardrive wont transfer data

looks like the usb connection pins are not touching the other connection pins. just check the pins touch each other surface then the data will transfer. check all four pins. if it is a standard A connector then far two pins are power supply and middle two pins are data pins.

v- data- data+ v+
the above are the pins in a standard usb connector
