Question about Canon SPEEDLITE 580EX TTL Flash
Does not oscillate! Dead. Cant work out how to get inside without damage?
have removed 4 base screws for part access.
Any suggestions as to possible faults will be gratefully received
Gentle prising revealed "held together with Snaps" noted positions of wiring plugs,
took apart expecting dead fuse/component. Always go for the simple solution......
the battery box was cracked! repaired with cement and strong tape. Reassembled
Take very great care with the main capacitor.Awesome beast ~300volts DC at a high amps .....would make your hair stand on end for a week
