Question about Xerox WorkCentre Pro 416DC Copier

Xerox WorkCentre Pro 416 S 1: I cannot reset the machine to factory default. There is an option there that says factory default and when selected and click on "Enter" and nothing happened. 2: Machine cannot receive fax and when receives, the paper comes out crooked and the information cut from the page. 3: There is a previous fax number on there where it says Line: I need to remove it and add the new fax number and cannot find this option where the fax number stored to remove it and add the new fax numner. Any idea adn help will be very much appriciated. Thanks D

In menus you browse to the service tab, then serivice diagnostics. Go to NVRAM reset and perform the NVM reset.
Before you do that, print out a configuration page if you want to rememebr the network settings. It will set the IP address back to default also.

HOW TO RESET XEROX M20I TO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING


The closest that you can get to a full factory reset is by doing the following
First: Press the [Machine Status] key
Second: Using the Navigation Keys select [System Admin Tools] and press [Enter]
If the System Admin Tools have already been passcode protected, type in the password and press [Enter]
Third:Select [Clear Memory] using the Navigation Keys and press [Enter]
Click System Data and press [Enter]
You May want to click on each of the given options to make sure everything is gone.

MY xerox work center pro copier 416 works well while photocopying,but i need a driver to operate from my PC

Need to reset replace drum message on Xerox Workcentre Pro 416


You can replace the chip on the drum unit. Or the drum unir itself.
Google a business called " the parts drop". They will have both the chip and or the drum cartridge. It is not resettable with a diagnostic code.

I have Xerox workcentre pro 128 copier machine and we don't know what the user name and password is. It was reset from default

My workcentre Pro 416 shows a jam, i have removed all jams that i could see. However it shows clear jam, and has 19 to dos on the screen, like open door, clean jam, close door, etc.. Is there a major reset...


On this 416 machine, there is one place you cannot see a jam.
Looking at the machine the right side doors need to be opened.
The lower trays feed paper and need to go up the by pass feeder area.
Just lower and behind the by-pass feeder the paper can get stuck, and you cannot see it.
If you try to push a card stock up from the bottom, the paper can be pushed out.
The other area is at the fuser. If the switch is worn it will not drop back into position. The tip of the switch wears and breaks off.
It is rare a sensor goes out on this machine, besides the fuser sensor. Each paper feed head needs to be checked to see if the paper sensors are bad.
Not seeing the machine, call Xerox for service repair if not resolved.

Is it possible to reset pro 416 out of this problem.


Limited information provided.<br /> Pressing 8 start may give you a error code. Or a 8 plus stop button.<br /> If the machine has a C4 code, this may require machine software to be installed on the machine in order to correct problems. The scanner will not operate correctly even with a new scanner. The software needs to be installed by the service representative in order to align the correct software to main board, to correct laser heas assay.<br /> Good luck.<!-- from fixya rte -->

Unimessage pro driver error


try reseting the nvram. if no luck after that try changing the image control board.. with another one if it's avaliable.(maybe you have another machine around. If not then conect your printer to the network reset the printer so you can get an ip address.. usually it's a 192.168.*.* Then type that ip address 192.168.*.* into the top of your web address bar and you should be able to see you printer. If not i would change the image control board because it might be bad.

This would be the first thing to try..


  • Press the 0 and 8 keys simultaneously and switch on.
  • Input 400 using the numeric keys, and press the enter key.
  • Change displayed status counter to 0, and press the enter key.
  • Switch the machine off then on. Check that the machine returns to the normal standby mode. If the machine does not return to normal standby mode, perform the following checks.
