Question about LG 42LC2D 42 in. LCD HDTV
Solid color lines? It can be the sign of failing LCD panel, more lines will appear as it get worst.
You can try reseating the ribbon cables between the LCD panel and the T-CON board.
I would inspect the power supply module for any sign of bad caps first since bad DC can cause a lot of strange symptom, it can also be the main board.
