Hi,
My few months old Creative Zen Nano plus 512 MB player refuses to save the EQ settings that I change each time I listen to music on it. Also, earlier when I turn it off and turn it on again, it would play the last track I had listened to from where I left off and, the EQ settings would be saved. But now, each time I turn it on, it plays the first track in the first folder. Any suggestions as to how to solve this problem would be welcome.

Well it shouldnt play the first song in the folder. it should automatically play the song where you left off. and when you are changing the EQ, make sure that you are pressing in the selector key. (the key at the bottom to the right of the volume control keys) as it may take a while to adjust to your volume settings

Maybe your mp3 player is not being recognised by your computer or program your using to put music on.
I really have almost no idea how to solve this, but try plugging it in to another usb port, or reinstalling it on your computer again with an installation cd it came with?
Well, if you are new to the creative zen Nano plus, you may not have figured out how to turn it on. hold the play/pause button until the mp3 lcd screen lights up and that should work. if this is not the case i am sorry i cant help, but i also have a creative zen Nano Plus so i could find out for both of our benefits. i hope i helped!
My creative zen nano plus 1GB bought 6 months back, when connected to the comp it hangs...then after long time it gives an error message that write file delayed in F:. I didn't even try to write any file...the right click also hangs the computer after long time
here is a fix if your creative zen nano plus just hang on the creative logo when you turn your player on.
download, Creative ZEN Nano Plus firmware.
you can find it at the creative website, download section.
double click the file you just dl'ed, now make sure your
zen nano player is already connected to your pc when you run the file. it may take a bit of time before your pc can detect your zen nano be patient, a window prompt will soon appear asking if you want to update your firmware with the one youve just dl'ed.
now, dont worry if the firmware is the same as the one already
installed in your zen nano, just continue with the update.
you can also check the box in which there is the option of also formatting the drive. ( note: all files in your zen nano will be lost)
after the firmware is flashed you can now play and transfer files to your zen nano plus.
Recommend you take a look at this Creative MP3 PLayers FAQ site first, it has a lot of info. BTW, I have the Nano (but not Plus) and I think the reset-switch hole they refer to is next to the USB connector on mine.
