Question about Heating & Cooling
Mack says check to see if you have a blockage between the discharging flue pipes and chimney stack.Maybe this unit accumulated rust/soot/or settlement restricting the full flow of carbon/air,ect. from the unit itself.

Same problem. Replaced the thermocoupler and the pilot light still goes out. I've done research and a lot of people are having the same issue with the brand/ model. Haven't been able to find a solution.

Thats what it sounds like to me you have a bad thermocoupler...as far as being under warranty alot of the components usually have bear minumum warranty the tank itself will still be under warranty based on your info... the thermocoupler are inexpensive and fairly easy to change most home depot or lowes building centers carry these in the water heater department....good luck
