All led's are lit up clipping upon powering on, plus no output. This is a common problem, $700.00 repair bill. this is a poor product choice.

That sounds like an excessive repair bill. It sounds like it was a failure in the power supply. Read the repair order and add that info here.

This is obviously a product defect, I have the same problem, I just decided to go the Pro Tools route, they all have issues from time to time, but at least the software patches will resolve problems, and they can also enhance the product with version upgrades. How come there hasn't been a D3200 software upgrade? Korg uninterested!

This issue should be fixed by Korg for free, this is just like a product recall on any other product that has a massive failure on one specific issue..

Clipping always lit

  1. Make sure nothing is plugged in.
  2. Turn the GAIN, LEVEL, and FX knobs for each channel, counter-clockwise all the way.
  3. Bring the MAIN fader all the way down.
If the signal LED's above the MAIN fader are still lit, then the board most likely has a short in it and will require repair.

If the signal LED's are dark, repeat the following on each channel...

  1. Rotate GAIN clockwise until the mark on the knob is at "12 oclock".
  2. Rotate LEVEL clockwise until the mark on the knob is at "3 oclock"
  3. Raise the MAIN fader to "0".
  4. Check LED's - if they light up then the channel you are working on is "noisy" or has a short in it.
  5. Return GAIN, LEVEL, and MAIN to "all off".
  6. Repeat with next channel.

Red light constantly lit, no sound

Would be surprised if this blew the sub of it was off at the time, have you tried the sub with another input source? Is it the clip light or the power light that's on?

The Limit Prot LED on my RCF Art-321A speaker remains on upon power up. The speaker also pops upon powering down. What do you think it could be? Thanks

The amp is blown. Some popping on power down is NOT uncommon, but the protect LED means the pwer amp is out of balance which is ******* speakers. Take in for repair.

Behringer europower pmp1000, mixer unit, has all leds lit ,is responding to mic. input, bur is not producing any ourput to speakers, can you advise please.

ALL LED's should NOT be lit all the time. If thsy are, there is a failure in the power supply.

plug headphones into the 1/4 inch main output jacks on the top... you will only hear sound in the left side headphone for each. This would verify the preamp is working.

Hello My Harbinger APS15 has a constant clip light lit. We can't get any output from the unit and it's just a couple of months old.

Likely the power amp has shorted to one rail... DO NOT attempt to use it as it could be sending high current through the speaker causing damage. Age of the unit doesn't have much to do with it. Take it in for repair. Unless you are electronically adept and can get a schematic this is not DIY.

M-audio ProKeys 88sx -- all led lights flash, no sound Upon turning the keyboard on, all led lights on the top panel flash. No sound from the keyboard. Is there a re-set button or something?

I have two of these. First thing check your power adapter for output. Just because LED's are on doesn't mean there is correct voltage... There is no reset button... Cycling power serves to reset it.

ALSO check the power input connector... sometimes those get intermittent and break connection due to vibration and initial current surge when turning on.

SWR WorkingPro 400 watt head - no sound, Preamp Clip red LED is continually lit, Limiter green LED continually lit - fuse is perfect. It worked for a few minutes, then just stopped.

Since the PA clip is not lit, the problem seems to be up front...

First thing is to look for a bad cable as a broken ground could be putting hum at a clipping level. First thing, test this by unplugging all inputs. If the clipping light goes out, then you have bad cables or a ground loop.

Try sending a line level signal into "Effects return" to test if the power amps are OK.

If the clip light is still on, turn all gain controls down to minimum. If light is still on then take unit for servicing.

No sound to speakers

There are many things, including hardware failure to cause this.

Make sure that the PFL buttons are ALL up. The LED indicators on the right are shared with solo channel and main output.

REMEMBER that the MAIN 1/4 inch jacks are TRS balanced and plugging a mono cable into these OR st the other end plugging into a MONO will short out the balanced line drivers. Since this also goes to the power amp, that can ground out the signal to the amps. All the other 1/4 inch jacks are pseudo balanced and mono plugs will not cause a problem other than possible hum or noise levels.

Do you get anything out of the PHONES jack?

Note that the standby switch must be UP in the upper right corner... it kills the first 12 channels. ALso with two speakers make sure the MAIN slide switch is in the MAIN A MAIN B upper position.

Start with all your PAN controls at 12 o'clock.

I have repaired two of these units and a PMP3000. Great caution: NEVER pull or insert speaker cables while unit is on. Great damage can be done. IF the fuse blows do NOT replace it!!! Get serviced immediately as replacing the fuse will likely do more damage. The worst damaged one required replacing around a dozen transistors and other components.

The power amps in these have a habit of arcing out... NEVER store in a high humidity area!!!

Try a set of stereo headphones plugged into the L and R MAIN out 1/4 inch jack... If you have audio there your power amps have failed or the +/- 85 volt supply has smoked.

Hello, The leds on my Mackie 1202 VLZ3 light up and sometimes stay lit even when there is no input going into the channels and the channels volume is completely down. Any thoughts? Thanks, Wayne.....

There are LED's all over these and you don't say which are lit... If they are mute or solo LED check the switches for a solo button or mute that is set.

IF they are the output level LED's plug in a set of phones and crank the phone volume up to losten if there is feedback or oscillation that is causing this.

HUM PICKUP due to a ground loop could be causing this. Make sure that ANYTHING connected to the unit that is also powered receives pwer from the SAME receptacle. If you have devices that receive power from a different receptacle you MAY have a ground loop. Noise on power lines can DAMAGE the equipment due to excedding the common mode input and output capability of the unit.

Finally, a strong local radio transmitter MAY be interfering. Sometimes the interference can go backward into the output lines to trigger the indicators.

As a test, when event occurs again, start unplugging anything connected to the mixer and see if disconnecting anything stops the problem. If you can have the problem with ONLY the power connected, then check if you have inadvertently created a loop within the unit by your settings.

Please refer to the "signal flow" diagrams in your user manual to see the possible feedback paths you can cause a loop to form.

REMEMBER the oscillation MAY be occuring well above the frequency you can hear !!!!

If you have access to an oscilloscope that would see if there is an oscillation going on.
