I have also changed the batteries and still will not turn on. It was working fine and then just quit. So I replaced the batteries and nothing happens.

I have the same problem! at first I thought the batteries were defective, but when I replaced them, the same thing! It wont turn on. But today I tried and it was having one of it's episodes, so I kept pressing ON and the scope moved out about half an inch, and it got stopped. The lens cover opened up but the screen didn't even turn on! What's wrong with our cameras?

I received a brand new Kodak C613 -it worked one time and then did not work again- I tried replacing the batteries with several of those recommended for the C613 camera- the cameranever turned on and overheated whenever I inserted Kodak AA Oxy-Alkaline Digital Camera Batteries, and also when I inserted a Kodak rechargeable KAA2HR battery. I did contact Kodak and was instructed to send the camera back to Kodak for service-just received a "refurbished" camera in return (This upset me to trade out a new camera for a used camera, instead of getting another "new" camera)) This camera does turn on and works w/ Kodak AA batteries, however does not turn on at all w/ Kodak Rechargeable KAA2HR battery. Followed instructions to remove batteries and place camera on Series 3 Camera dock-tried turning camera on- still does not turn on.

I bought two of these for my company, and one no longer turns on. The Kodak rechargeable battery in the failed unit was put into the other, and that one works perfectly. Swapping the working one's primary battery (same rechargeable kodak unit) back into the dead camera has no effect. Is there maybe some sort of button lock-out sequence that gets hit by accident? (I have not found any pair of buttons that causes our dead camera to come back to life, but there may be some sequence I haven't tried...)

I bought 2 of these cameras for my company a couple of months ago. One of them - I'll call it "B" - no longer turns on at all as of yesterday. "A" still works fine, even with B's Kodak rechargeable battery pack in it. A's working battery does nothing for B's problem. Photos on B's SD card, taken the day before the failure, were perfectly good when read from A.

There is no event that we can associate with the recent failure... no drop, no dampness, no abuse of any kind. It was stored overnight in its padded case, and just never woke up.

Could there be a "button lock" option (to prevent accidental startup) that might have been engaged, and that requires an odd combination of buttons to re-start the camera?

I have the same problem! It was working perfectly two days ago. The batteries were going dead so I thought that was the problem but now I have replaced them twice and nothing. Sounds like a familiar problem!!!!

You could try to switch your batteries to KODAK batteries.

My Kodak EasyShare C180 10.2MP Digital Camera is less than a year old and suddenly won't turn on. I thought the batteries were dead so I replaced them...twice...and tried changing the direction around...

Things to check first for a camera that won't turn on are battery contact points, and micro switches that are located on the battery and memory card doors. Troubleshooting tips on other things that need to be checked may be seen here. These tips won't work for every case, but they're worth a try.

Camera won't turn on with fully charged batteries. Camera worked fine for 2 years and 2 weeks after warranty was over it will no longer turn on.

Seems that the control board is faulty if you are quite sure that the batteries are fully charges and giving good contact.
Remove off battery for some time and reset the battery , hold down power and see if there is any signs of life.
If not the camera be referred to Kodak with a plea for consideration..you might get an advantage.

Connected Kodak Easyshare C613 to computer and downloaded pics - camera will no longer turn on - new batteries

Here are the steps for the no power problem: 1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher). 2. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera 3. Turn on your camera without the memory card. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty)

No power on camera Kodak C613 digital

use a rubber eraser to clean the ends of the batteries and the contacts in the camera. this will allow for more power to pass and might help. also make sure contacts are not bent down too far.

I need the driver for my Kodak C613 Digital Camera for Windows 2000. Any ideas where I can get it? Kodak tells me that it is not available on their site. This is the last Kodak product I will ever buy....!

Here's a link to third party software, Easy Share 1, which should work with your camera. I can't guarantee that it will work for you, but it certainly can't hurt to try it

Kodak camera bad battery life

Okay, first of all, KODAK batteries are a waste of money. And second of all, make sure that you aren't using rechargeable batteries. And if you checked those, bring those batteries back to the store bub, because those are some lousy 5% charged from the factory.

Are you using Lithium batteries?

Most Kodak models are only happy running on Lithium batteries.

I have two Kodak cameras, both had various power-related problems. Since using Lithium batts, not a single glitch.

They are more expensive, but they end up costing less compared to the amount of alkaline batts replaced.

Worth a try.
