Hello,
I have an IBM T20 that I bought refurbished, it worked great for a few
months and then bang it was dead. I was working on it one day and the
screen went blank and it has not recovered. I have tested the HDD,
RAM, the screen, and even replaced the motherboard. When you power it
on the lights light up and then the light closest to the power button
stays lit and that is it. The cpu fan is spinning and blowing out air
but other than that nothing. It won't POST and I can't boot to even a
floppy. Is the cpu toast? Is this thing just a paperweight now?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

IBM repair shop waiting for a new motherboard. Fortunately, it's under
warranty. I suppose you could try changing out the battery on the MB but if
you need a new MB, then it's probably not worth fixing.
