Question about Health & Beauty
Varies from 'free' to approximately $35.00. Problem is finding decent blades as they are unique to the razor. Also - some report poor shaving experiance... Still - a very unique and intersting device! ...take a look at e-bay for examples and price range; mine was given to me by a friend that had no use for it.

have you tried taking apart the blades and replacing them so that they line up together? Have you had a professional shear sharpener look at your blades? mabie all they need is to be sharpened again. Blades like knives or scissors need to be sharpened every once in a while. Also try replacing the blades with a new ones. The blades may have worn out. also try oiling the blades every once in a while.

This is always a problem with clippers, it's just a matter of holding the blades tightly in place and getting the screws in as tightly as possible without letting the blades go. This has always worked for me in the past.

To open model 8985 you will first need to gently pry off the 'cap' on the bottom that surrounds the hole where the cord plugs in. Once removed the side grips will pull off revealing 4 screws. Remove screws to take off back cover and access insides. Inner parts simply lift out.
If replacement parts are required, you will find all components for this model at shaveroutlet.com
