Question about Computers & Internet
Hello don..... This is an instance where I recommend that you take the mac into a computer repair shop and have them remove it. This is an unusual occurrence. There is no sense in making it worse than it is so leave this job to the pro. Joe
Thanks for choosing Fixya!!

What model is your Mac? Usually it's something like A1054 on the machine itself, usually the back if it's a desktop or bottom if it's a laptop.
I can help you solve this no problem ;)

You must untuck the tabs. In other words one end of the tab will come out. The tabs do not pull the ram out, they just remove it from the slot. You have to manually reach in with your fingers and pull it out. Watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCFSZnTRggU
