Hi,

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

Dryer does not heat up checked all thermostats and replaced heating element still no luck

hum... I ve seen where the motor was only getting 120 and not 240 and with most dryers they use 2 speeds or modes on the windings , 1 direction for drying with heat and the other to run minus heat thus if u only get 120 volts u have enough to run the dryer but not enough to run the heat to that dryer?

Dryer is not heating enough and it takes too much time to dry clothes. I checked the vent duct to outside and it is ok. My dryer is old but it is in good condition. It pays to repair it.

Hi,
The problem could then be with the thermostat... it is not allowing the heat to be hot enough...

My nepture dryer wringles the clothes very badly

Most common problems with wrinkles is too much clothing is in the dryer causing and allowing to tumble freely. 2nd, the dryer is not putting out enough heat and cause the clothes to stay damp and stay winkles. 3rd the exhaust fan may be not working properly. you might able to solve the problems by trying to reduce the amount of load, allow it to tumble freely and I don't know if your dryer are putting out enough heat. the cause of low heat can be the heating element is going out. hope that help some.

LG tromm electric dryer not heating up

Most likely you have a bad electrical connection, resulting in only 120 volts to dryer. (enough to run the 120 volt motor, but not enough to power the 240 volt heating elements) Turn off breaker. Make sure wires on breaker are tight. Make sure nutral wire is tight in breaker box. Take cover off dryer recepticle and check the wires in it to make sure they are all tight. Check that the connections of the cord at the dryer are tight.

Not enough heat

first check for proper voltage, second check for open limits, third check airflow,( make sure there is plenty), if not enough airflow the limits will turn off elements.
