Question about Whirlpool Refrigerators
Hello baker..... Let's remove Whenever you replace the water filter on any refrigerator, you must run a couple of gallons of water thru the water dispenser until all the air from the new water filter is out. Use a large container to do this. The water will not stop when you pull a cup away because the water valves used on refrigerators are so weak it will not close until it has pressure on both sides of it. If you don't get the air out, the air from your new water filter can go to the ice maker and stop ice production. So flush the air out of your new water filter.
