Try to rotate manually. If rotates, replace capacitor. Still problem, winding open in fan coil.

Ideas? Yep. Shut down fan power at the source (fuse, breaker, etc.). Turn on fan power again. You should be back in operation

Lights won't work on Harbor Breeze ceiling fan

Ceiling fans operated with remote controls, pull chains, and/or wall switches tend to get confused and just fail. You can try disconnecting power at the source and, while pausing briefly, remove batteries from the remote and push all buttons to eliminate the "stuck button" cause. Then, reconnect power and try various combinations of controls until something works or you give up in frustration.

The light on the remote is a battery light. First mistake was buying a store brand fan which are mostly low-end parts. Try adding a different remote w/receiver.

Hunter ceiling fan fan is working but lights are not

Make sure light wire is connected at the ceiling & at the bottom. Otherwise it's probably the receiver. 1-888-830-1326 ( Hunter parts )

Sounds like an excellent idea. In case you don't get a certain reply, i suggest that you remove a blade from your old fan and take it with you to a store that has one on display. Check the spacing of the holes, and the number of blades. You might also find that the width of the blades and their pitch (which is determined by the bracket the blades are attached to) work out in combination to give you about the same performance. But if the bigger fan has a much flatter pitch, you might find it won't deliver as much air as your old fan did with the old blades. Good luck, Al K

Hunter fan model 25706 both the lights & fan have stopped working

mcdevito75 here, VeryGood question, very good, here we go, ------ First a re-set for the motor, I really don"t know but if there is it"s on the motor itself, you"d have to un-screw the cover just at the ceiling and let this cover slide down the chain Attached from the ceiling to the fan itself. and check the motor itself for a reset swtch, usually a red bitton. Now!! true, if the fan motor is bad it could affect the lights, here"s how, the wall switch supplies electricity to the fan motor and the pull chain on the motor turns the fan on, from the motor itself to the fan lights another wire also from the fan motor goes to the fan lights, SO!! if the fan motor is no good it won"t allow electricity to go on to the fan lights. Maybe you Fan motor is just stuck, specially if you haven"t used it in a whlie, with the wall swiotch on and fan speed on low try to gently move the fan blades them selves. If not you may have to repalace the fan.

No power to hunter ceiling fan or light.

It sounds like either the top part of your remote is bad, or you have a bad connection to it. Have someone that is familiar with electricity (that may be you?) check to see if there is power to the ceiling box, and fan's remote that is ususally in the ceiling box, or just under it in the cover. If you have power there, your remote is failing.

Possibly, your switch has a short in it.Outside of that, it may be a broken wire somewhere. Hope this helps. Good luck.
