I use it everyday, never a problem, never an issue. I unplugged it to move it out of my way for the day and this morning I plugged it back in and it will NOT turn on. When I hit the power button a red light in the front flashed 4 times and that is all. I opened the back and reseated the hard drive then removed and replaced the memory cards. I put the battery back in and nothing, even when plugged in with the adapter!! HELP!

Shut down, unplug, remove battery, plug in, reboot. If it reboots, open Control Panel, Power Options, Advanced power settings, Change Sleep and Hibernate to Never. Adjust the settings to your preference. Set the Screen Saver time. When your laptop is not in use shut it down and unplug, this will prolong life and a reboot everyday will reset your laptop.
This problem tends to happen to laptops more than desktops. If your laptop is stuck on you will need to unplug the power adapter and then flip over the laptop and pull the battery out. Now put the battery back in and power plug (optional) and turn it back on. If it is working normally great! If it still won't power off afterward you may have a more serious issue.
