Walker mower

Your ignition switch is bad. The contacts inside are not making good connection to send signal to starter solenoid to start engine. Now the run position contacts are bad causing the engine to shut off. If the engine cuts out on you again, wiggle the key in the ignition at the same time start the engine using your screw driver. If the engine starts back up again, wiggle the ignition to see if the engine hesitates and stalls out again. If so, replace ignition switch assembly.

Husqvarna riding mower

The ignition switch takes the coil grounding wire to earth to cut the motor, so there is either a problem with the ignition switch or a break in the earth wire ( check the conections down by the engine ) to check the system run the machine with the deck engaged lift yourself out of the seat, if the engine stops it will be more than likly the ignition switch playing up, if it does not shut down there is a wiring issue.

Simplicity not charging. Just shuts off while cutting grass after a while

there is a connector on the side of the engine that comes from the generator that is under the flywheel see if it is putting out power to there if so trace it back to the loss

It sounds like your mower is equipped with a reverse safety switch. This switch will prevent you from mowing in reverse by killing the engine, like any safety switch. You just need to investigate it and decide if you will disengage the blades to back up or if you will disable the safety switch. You mentioned that there were wires cut. Do you know what they were? How many were cut? I suggest that you trace them out to see what they are, where they go. The previous owner may not have wanted to deal with the safeties for a number of reasons.

In regards to the reverse safety switch, many mowers do not have them. As in they do not come on all mowers, historically. I do not know if they are designed into all the newer ones or not. I work on older mowers and whether or not they are on a mower seams to depend on the manufacturer (on older mowers). My seven or eight year old Craftsman does not have one, while a twelve year old MTD may.

I hope this is helpful for you.

I have a Woods Zero Turn Mow n Machine powered

Try taking the cover off to get to the fly wheel and use some fine sandpaper or emery cloth to clean off the magnets on the fly wheel and the two little prongs that set really close to the fly wheel.
My white wouldn't start right away and I did the above and now it starts great.

Let me know if that helps.

Mower quits when engaging mower deck of husqvarna yth 2348

Try putting a jumper wire on the wire going from the engine to the seat. Take that plug and put a wire from one side to the other. Be careful not to cut your feet off when engaging deck.

Cub cadet 2135 mower wont shut off with the key

It seems that you have a broken stop wire. Trace the wire from the electronic ignition to the ignition switch. It usually is a black wire.
This is an adjustment problem I think. Make sure with engine off and the unit jacked up adjust the lever that engages the blades. Good tension when actuated and loose when realeased. Hope this is a help to you. donnyb60
