It sounds like the boot order was changed to tell the machine to boot from the network device. You can enter system bios usually by pressing (F2) or (del) at boot up. You can then change the boot order to start from the hard drive.

If you discover that the hard drive is selected, then it is possible that your hard drive has crashed. At that point you would have to determine whether or not the hard drive is physically defective

If you're using PXE to network boot, check your network cable. Also, check the net boot server.

If you're not, open your computer and ensure that all of the cables going to your hard drive are secure. If they are, and it still won't work, reset your BIOS to factory defaults (ehow has a good guide for this). Attempt to use the hard drive in another computer, if it won't work then your drive is corrupted (you may need to reinstall windows or buy a new drive).

Pxe-E63 : error while initializing the NIC

Check the boot sequence. For a normal boot, it should be set to hard disk as first item, not the network.

When i turn on my computer it reads PXE-E63: Error while initializing the NIC and PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM. Missing Operating System

It sounds like it is trying to boot from a network. Enter the bios by hitting the delete key during boot. First see if your hard drive is recognized. If not yours is bad. If it IS listed check the boot sequence and make sure your hard drive is first, or CD first HDD second. Save and try again. Hope this helps.

Your BIOS setting or boot order was changed to enable network booting (Intel's PXE).

reboot, tap F2 to enter BIOS and navigate menu to disable network booting.
