I cannot decipher your message, but I am going to take a chance on guessing. I think that you are saying that your Sylvania SYNET07526 is not behaving. If that is so you can try flipping it over on it's back and find a small hole about 1in. diagonally from the right lower point of the data plate. Insert a tooth pick into the hole and press gently on the re set micro switch for about 10 seconds while the machine is hooked to the AC power. This should load a fresh copy of the OS.

If it fails this then you may have to re-flash the system. See: It is looking for apassword (WiFi Network Key) You have to double click on the little computericon down in the right tool bar area, the one with the two side radiating arcs, and possibly has a small red X under it. The red X indicates that it is NOTconnected. When you double click on that icon a window called RT28701 opens up,then you click on Wireless Information tab, then you cursor down to the name ofyour WiFi and high light it and click the connect box. Then another windowopens up called Network Properties. Uncheck "The key is providedautomatically" box. This will allow you to type in your "NetworkKey", the password that protects your network from outsiders. This"KEY" was set up when you installed the router on your servercomputer. If this does not work at first, turn the machine over on it's backand using a toothpick, insert it into the little hole about an inch diagonallyfrom the right corner of the data plate, this will re-load a new copy ofeverything including the WiFi RT28701 driver. sometimes thisdriver gets confused. See my TIP at: http://www.fixya.com/support/r7350901-fix_synet07526_wifi_flashing AdditionalInformation When I try to signon with the red X showing, I get "The page cannot be displayed If I thendouble click on the icon down in the right corner I elucidated above, RT28701opens up to "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) with all zeros in the IP addressfield, and Subnet Mask, with no entries in the default gateway. That is a clueto me that the auto sign on has not found a viable network or needs somethingelse. If I then click on Wireless Information tab, The list of availablenetworks appear in the box. The machine keeps trying to associate my previousentered name site with my prefered site and tells me the signal is good, but itcannot link up. This is a signal to me that it has lost my Network Key or thatthe software has failed or both. I then click on advance anddelete my prefered network and hit OK, this will force the software to ask mefor my network again, and notice that the prefered is missing. I click on thename of my network again and then hit connect., then the Wireless Networkproperties window opens up and I can insert my Network Key again after Iuncheck the "The key is provided automatically" box. I enter the keyand hit the OK button. I still do not get a connection, so I reboot themachine, and wait for about 30 seconds and the machine synchs up because thelittle RED X under the icon has disappeared. Now the machine will hook to theinternet as long as I want to, but sometimes when I turn the machine on it willnot synch, so I go through the above sequence again. The secret is once youhave entered your key and ask for the machine to synch up you have to reboot. Why? I do not exactly know, but I suspect that the WiFi driver looses it

Key pad is not working

Locate the "Fn" key in the lower right or left corner of the laptop keyboard.

The "Fn" key typically has different colored text on it or the key itself is a different color.

Locate the function (F1 through F12) key at the top of the keyboard that disables or enables the touchpad on the laptop.

The key typically has an icon that resembles a touchpad with a finger touching it or a touchpad with a diagonal line through it.

Press both the "Fn" and touchpad Function key simultaneously to reactive the touchpad on your laptop.

Move your finger along the touchpad to verify that it works.

Press the combination at any time to disable the touchpad again.

hope this helps

Toshiba Satellite A305D-S6848 touchpad is bad, how do i change it?

You touchpad might have been hijacked by a virus or infection.

Click Start/Control Panel and look for the Mouse and open it to check the mouse properties. Make sure you don't have the touchpad disabled.

Some models will allow you to toggle the touchpad on or off by clicking on the button that is located at the top of the touch pad in the middle.

Some models will allow you to toggle the touchpad by tapping twice in the upper left hand corner of the touchpad.

Some models will require a keystroke to toggle the touchpad. Press and Hold the ALT or FN function key located at the lower left portion of the keyboard, then hit the key that toggles the touchpad. The correct key to hit will have the icon of a finger pointing at a square that represents the touchpad.

Download and reinstall the touch pad drivers.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Dell Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Touchpad drivers.

Try downloading and installing MalwareBytes then run a Quick Scan.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download and install malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When the site opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do not click the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the Gui Interface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version or Decline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run a QUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be in red. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad text document will open up showing you the results. You can close the text document and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTED RESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When it finishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot your machine.

Internal tochpad wont work

You probably have the touchpad turned off. Some models will have a button at the top of the touchpad in the middle that toggles it on or off.

Some models you can tap twice in the upper left hand corner of the touchpad to toggle it on or off.

I've seen some models where the touchpad is toggled by keystrokes. You had to Press and Hold the ALT or FN function key then hit the key that toggles the touchpad. The correct key to hit had the icon of a finger pointing at a touchpad.

Click Start/Control Panel and check the Mouse or touchpad drivers to make sure the settings are ok. I would just set everything back to Default.

Maybe you need to reinstall the touchpad drivers if any of the above does not solve it.

My friend's touchpad does not work

Some manufacturers made a toggle that is in the upper left hand corner of the touchpad that you tap twice to toggle the touch pad on or off.

Some touchpads will have a button at the very top of the touchpad in the middle that you press to toggle the touchpad on or off.

Some manufacturers let you toggle the touchpad between on and off with keystrokes. Normally the keystrokes is to Press and Hold the ALT or FN function key then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the keypad. Normally the correct key that toggles the keypad will have the icon of a finger pointing at a square which represents the touchpad.

You can always try to see what the manufacturer manual says about the keypad.

Keypad doesn't work

Keypad or the Touchpad? Are you saying your keys don't work or is it that the mouse pointer is frozen and not working?

If it's the touchpad and mouse pointer:
I think you have the Touch Pad disabled. You can toggle the touch pad between enable and disable by a couple of ways depending on the manufacturer. On some at the very top of the touchpad there might be a button in the middle that you can press that toggles the touchpad. On others it might be a sequence of key strokes. For example you might have to Press and Hold the ALT or FN key then hit the corresponding key at the top of the keyboard that toggles it. Most times the correct key to hit will have the icon of a finger pointing at a square area that represents the touchpad.

If it's the Keyboard:
Maybe your keyboard has been hijacked by a virus or infection. Maybe you spilled a liquid on the keyboard. Maybe the keyboard cable needs to be reseated ( taken out and put back in).

Have you tried your keyboard in Safe Mode? Boot into Safe Mode and see if the Keyboard works, if so you know you have a virus or infection.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type:"download.cnet.com" (without the quotes). Click the link to goto the site and look on the left side when the site opens up and you will see agray area that says FIND SOFTWARE. In the white search box under FindSoftware type: "Virtual Keyboard" (without the quotes) and click themirror to search. When the search results come back look for FREE VIRTUALKEYBOARD. Download and Install it. It's totally FREE. Alsouncheck anything that pops up other than the license agreement during thedownload and installation. You only want the Free Keyboard and not theother junk.

You can use it to solve your keyboard problem. Just open up whatever it is youwant to type on such as the web address in an browser, a word document, etc.,then open the Free Virtual Keyboard and it will sit on top of whatever you weredoing. You can move it around so that it is not in your way also.

Emachines netbook unlock key pad

Key Pad or Touchpad? Is it that the mouse pointer is frozen and does not work? If so, look at the middle of the touchpad at the top of it and there might be a button there that lets you toggle the touchpad between locked and unlocked.

Sometimes there might be a set of keystrokes you will have to hit to lock or unlock the keypad. Most times you will have to Press and Hold the Alt, FN or Ctrl key then hit the key (most times one of the F1 thru F12 keys) that controls the keypad. The key that controls the keypad will have the icon of a finger inside or pointing at a square that represents the keypad. On one laptop recently that I worked on it was toggled by Pressing and Holding the ALT key then hit the F6 key. F6 had a finger pointing at a square area representing the touchpad.

When I'm typing something, it sometimes will "skip" to a different line or spot. If I don't watch it constantly, I will have to go back and re-do alot of work, VERY ANNOYING

This problem is often caused by an over-sensitive touchpad mouse on the laptop. Make sure your thumbs aren't brushing it as you type. Other solutions are: Update the touchpad drivers to make sure you have the best fit or attach an external mouse via a USB port and disable the touchpad mouse from Control Panel.
