when spining it makes a gravel noise like there is dirt under the agatator and when the cycle has finished all bits of hard dirt have come out into the wash.How do l remove the agatator to clean under it? thankyou

WizWhat type washer do you have? make? model?
Some agitator pull off, some are screwed down, some are bolted down, the bolts would be under the cap or fabric dispenser.
