I am sorry to say that you will need your backup system disk or Windows disk to get back into your pc if pressing F8* as it boots doesn't allow you to recover.
*Depending on the manufacture of the pc.
Some manufacturers supply rescue disks as do some web sites. Google Rescue disk and the manufacturers name, if you have no luck.
Hope that helps.
Check your BIOS to see if it's trying to boot to the floppy drive, or CD instead of the hard drive.
Try to boot to CD and see if it runs.
If you can get to CD, reinstall Windows and choose Repair, which will only copy the operating system files, and leave your data files intact.
If all of that doesn't work you may have had a hardware problem with the controller, RAM problem, power surge, or file corruption from any of those, or from a virus. In the end, the last extreme is to do a reformat and reinstall with fresh Windows and start adding your programs back on, one at a time.
Remember to keep your essential data backed up... at least once a quarter if you can! 8^)
Good luck!

As many as two passwords may be needed for any Lenovo IdeaPad computer: the power-on password (POP) and the supervisor password (SVP). If any of these passwords has been set, a prompt for it appears on the screen whenever the computer is turned on. The computer does not start until the password is entered.
Exception: If only an SVP is installed, the password prompt does not appear when the operating system is booted.
Power-on password
A power-on password (POP) protects the system from being powered on by an unauthorized person. The password must be entered before an operating system can be booted.
Supervisor password
A supervisor password (SVP) protects the system information stored in the BIOS Setup Utility. The user must enter the SVP in order to get access to the BIOS Setup Utility and change the system configuration.
Attention: If the SVP has been forgotten and cannot be made available to the servicer, there is no service procedure to reset the password. The system board must be replaced for a scheduled fee.
Sorry hope this helps a little good luck
