Question about Maxent Televison & Video

When television is turned on, there initially has no picture, then after several minutes the picture comes on. However, the picture constantly flickers. and when the background is a dark color, you can see red dots. The problem is slowly getting worse over time.

It sounds like the video processor is getting noisy. Maybe small capacitors not decoupling noise from other stages but whether you would find anyone willing to have a go at repairing it is another matter. Maybe worth trying another power supply perhaps, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
Sorry but not an easy fix if it isn't a lead or connection problem and I don't think it would be if it is a digital set.

I have a Samsung TV model LN40C530F and I have 2 problems with it. 1. Suddenly, the sound rises for a few minutes and it comes back at the initial level. It can happen several times during a program. 2 ....

This happens a lot. I would blame the tv itself. I've worked on samsungs with faulty CCFL lamps, faulty backlight inverters....faulty mainboards ETC. I believe this is a video signal issue going from digital to analog which corrilates with the tuner board (AKA mainboard) of this television. If you have a warranty, demand new...if you don't, try and replace the mainboard and see if it works for awhile (long-term, unliekly)

Rate if this helps :)

When initially turned on the picture jumps around for several minutes

"Fonzie-ing it" ? It's terrible that I understood what that meant. lol

Sounds like the tuner has a bad solder joint. You may need a Repairman.

Sony Trinitron KV35V35

Could be a weak Picture tube . You can try turning up the screen control but don't turn it up too much you'll get retrace lines in the picture . Turn it alittle at time until picture comes on then turn it down until the retrace lines go away . Then try turning the tv on and off to make sure it comes back on. Be careful you can get shocked if you do this while it is on and you touch one of the circuits . The control is on the flyback or the module thats on the picture tube it will say screen by it . If this does not work you could have vidoe problems or just the picture is no good . Good luck
