Question about Toshiba 35A44 35" TV

1 Answer

The demo display for showing tv adjustments controls, will come on by itself and continually repete itself and never shut off. Tried unplugging the set for several minutes to reset it. Open to any suggestions, we really like the tv. Great picture.

also, the sound volume sometimes does not work at all, either on the remote or the button on the tv.

Sorry i did know that you replied back. We have tried turning off the demo mode many of times. Sometimes it works for a few minutes but most of the it just does not work at all.

Yes it would be nice to see if we can fix this tv , before i get rid of it. So if you can provide an explanation of what the problem might be and possibly fix it, that would be greatand happy to pay.

if you accept to pay me i will work with you further to resolve this issue it might even be that there is a issue with the programming that the factory has put in one tv i have seen did that and it turned out to be that a logic board component has gone bad

Older magnavox - TR2510C101. The TV store advertisment is all it will display. Says "This should be your next TV, etc." Will not shut off or respond. We have to unplug it.

The tv is in the demo mode. To get it out of the demo mode, try this:
Press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN front panel buttons at the same time. This will take the TV out of that demo mode.
Hope this helps

Hi - I just moved and when I hooked up my 2003 Panasonic SC-AK100, it stays in 'demo' mode and won't shut off completely...after showing "goodbye" and apparently shutting off, it comes back on...

Page 12:

A demonstration of the display is shown if you have not set the clock.

You can reduce the power consumed in standby mode by turning it

During standby mode

Hold down ['square icon'/-DEMO] until "NO DEMO" is displayed.

Every time you hold down the button:

NO DEMO (off)↔DEMO ON (on)

To show a demonstration of the display
Hold down ['square icon'/-DEMO] until "DEMO ON" is displayed.

Insignia LCD TV won't recognize computer input...

Heres the dealyo.
Click start button
Click control panel
Click display
Click settings
adjust screen resolution (probably have to go down) until the tv displays your computer
if this did not work, you will have to adjust bit rate from 32 to 16. Fiddle with the settings until the magic happens.
You will not get any sound unless you use an audio jack plugged into t.v.

Im here all week

Turns itself on

Hey there, you actually need to press the Stop /-DEMO Button when the device is doing the demo will take about 8 seconds and it will display "DEMO OFF" and turn off. This procedure needs to be run everytime there is a power failure OR you unplug it from the wall.
Pressing the Stop /-DEMO while it is on will cause it to start the demo while it is running!
Regards, Joel
