Not sure what your problem is from the description... you have a heat pump that heating but not cooling? A water heater?

In general try these things:

Power off for five minutes (at least) and then power back on...

Make sure the grill and any filters are clean. No air flow means no heat/cool exchange.

Make sure the water line valve isn't partially closed.

If you have access to a voltage meter and are comfortable using one, check the voltage to the unit. There should be a label on it that tells you what it should be getting (there can be some variance, but not much).. i.e. 115v or 115vac.. virtually the same as 120v.. or the next stage is 208/230v...

if it's not getting enough voltage then you have a problem that an electrician or someone knowledgeable would need to look at, or the element inside is going out.

If it's gas and not electric it could be dirty gas valve, low gas volume, dirty burner...

Good luck!

Outdoor Wood Stove Hot Air or Hot Water

You're getting a new wood stove and you have many decisions to make. Other than brand, you need to decide whether you will use hot air or hot water to get the heat from the wood stove to the living space.

If you have a hot water heating system already installed then you obviously need to have a water stove. If you are thinking about what to install in a new home or already have hot air then you need to consider what will be the best option for you.

Now if you are installing a new system then you want to go hot water. That is by far the best way of heating and will be the best way to heat using an outdoor wood stove. Hot water heating is one of the best ways to get great heat transfer from the fire to the water to the air.

If you have hot air heat and want to heat with wood then you can install a wood hot air furnace, and set it beside your existing furnace. The ductwork will have to be reworked to get the heat from the wood furnace to the existing ductwork. Or you can install a coil into the ductwork on the supply side of the furnace, for the water to run through from a hot water wood burner. This is probably the best way to heat if you have a hot air furnace. Installing the hot water coil is a very simple process and the piping is fairly easy to hookup.

Hot air wood furnaces are almost always a inside the structure appliance, which means that you have the mess of the wood and the ashes inside. This dust and dirt mess is something that is much better kept outside where it can be cleaned up much easier.

Bottom line here is that you want to use a hot water wood burning stove if you can. You will be much happier with the heat that you get from burning wood.

My heating is not working properly it starts and then after a while radiater light goes on and off n then heating stop working but i get hot water ok

Hi,

In most cases problems with the circulator pump boil down to two problems.
The most common is air in the lines causing an air lock.
The next problem is that the pump gets stuck and is not running even though it may be hot and seem to be running. In this cause the pump can sometimes be taken apart, cleaned and it will work, but usually it needs to be replaced.

Here is a tip that I wrote that will explain circulator pump problems in more detail.

Check to make sure your supply lines aren't crossed and that your hot water supply is connected to the dishwasher

Loss of hot water

usually with a loss of hot water on a boiler and the heating still works ok means the heat exchanger is blocked and needs replacing or cleaning. it could also be a faulty sensor.

Boiler bangs when hot water used

You need to install a "water hammer arrestor" they can be found at any local plumbing supply house.

If you can find one with "Shark bite" fittings already installed then there will be no need for soldering or special tools other than a tubing cutter.

Heating doesnt work - no hot air in chrysler grand voyager

(check water/ antifreeze level first, make sure it's full, low water can cause it not to heat properly) it could possibly be either the thermostat- fairly cheap and easy to fix, great for DIY's- if that doesn't fix it, it could be heater core.
