Question about Heating & Cooling
You will have to unplug unit and reset ...the operation is as follows ...
the inducer draft motor will start first if there is a call from the thermostat for heat. after the draft motor starts you should see a hose running from the housing assembly to a pressure switch it pulls all the stale air out of the system and closes the negative pressure switch and then sends voltage to the hot surface ignitor or spark module which ever you have after it glows red or sparks and lights a pilot the the gas valve is opened from the current being sent back from the hot surface ignitor and the system should light...you need to unplug unit and watch it..remove door panel and hold the door safety switch down if it has one.make sure you have the thermostat calling for heat and watch where it fails... if it is giving a ed code it is locked out.it should try 2 to 3 times and then give you a fault code usually located on door panel.you will have to count the number of blinks to determine the fault code....hope this helps
