Once a while ago, the computer began crash and reboot during working. Then the period getting shorter and shorter. Now it crashes before finishes the initial boot and the screen becomes dark and does not auto reboot again as before (but I can hear that the hard driver is still running).

My phone is automatically switch off

Talking on the phone with a bluetooth headset and self-rebooted.
Playing abduction and crashed. Self-reboot constantly at the X screen
Took battery out for 15 second, and tried again, same thing.
Did it a second time to fix it.
- reading google.com/reader and crashed. Self-reboot constantly at the X screen
Took battery out for 15 second, and tried again, same thing.
Did it a second time to fix it.
Did a factory reset to see if it helps.
During market downloads of apps, crashed again and rebooted

Phone used edge more than 3g lately in the past few days.
After factory reset, using 3g again.

Had the phone for 3 weeks, so the tech support guy said I can only get it repaired or replaced by a refurb unit...Sounds like a bad deal to me...
and to make it even worst, I bought the google dev g1 a few months ago before this...$1k down the drain...

Sounds like you may have "hit the problem" But to me sounds like the chip itself is no good anymore. Any chance of getting a chip off another board and replacing it?

Gateway ML6732 Crashed ...NEED help

Seems you have OS (first guess) problem so if you have recovery disk then insert it in DVD/CD driver and reboot your laptop.
And follow the instructions appeared on sreen and when you reach installation mode choose repair one if you wanna repair OS otherwise choose fresh Installation.
once you are done you should be good to go and if you have Hardware problems then your system will show the bugs on screen during installation period.
oh! if you have any external drives (Thumb drive, Ipod) plugged in then remove before you start above procedure because due to external drives also it happens if you dont have any plugged in external drives then follow the above procedure.
Thank you and post back if any thing changes.

Crash when re-connected to power supply

Go into msconfig and disable all your programs then let the notebook reboot. After it reboots and goes back into windows. Try to unplug it and plug it back in and see if it does the same thing, if so then you might need to wipe out the drive and start over fresh. If it doesn't crash on you after disable the programs and unplug and replug then you have some software that isn't interfering with the power options that controls windows.

Sims 2 plus expansion packs keep crashing

Im not positive but it may work. Go to "Start", "Control Panel", "Hardware and Sound", then "Power Options". Once you have found "Power Options" your going to want to set your computer to "High Perfomance" mode. You computer will now run your hardware at level its supposed to be ran at. But, power usage will go up though. So as long as your not leaving your computer on for long extended periods of time, its ok. But if you are, I recommend turning it back to "Balanced" mode. Hope this helps. Get back to me if you need anything else.

My Dell XPS One keeps crashing

First of all, if you've only had the system 6 months, it should be under warranty with Dell. So I'd contact Dell 1st before replacing any hardware on my own. You can chat with Dell tech support here:

http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/chat/hardware_chat?c=us&l=en&s=gen

There is a BIOS revision you can download and install:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R183426&SystemID=XPS_ONE_A2010&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=15196&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=2&catid=-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=1&fileid=250629

If you need to replace a RAM module, the instructions are here:

Games Crash..

How old is the laptop? It could be that the gfx card is dieing or has died and the onboard card cannot handle the games. If it is still under warranty take it back to the place of purchase and get them to repair it. If it is outside the warranty period and it is the gfx card, the only thing you can really do is buy a new card that your motherboard will support.
