Power off for a few seconds.. then power back on. You might also try rebooting the computer, just so that's not messing with you.
If that doesn't do it, and you're comfortable removing the head, power it off, then do that and reseat it.. power back up.
If that doesn't clear it, power it off, remove the head, VERY CAREFULLY clean the connection with basic alcohol with a lint-free cloth. Don't use Q-tips or tissue that would leave behind fibers or residue. Lightly lightly. It's a delicate piece of electronics and very sensitive at that juncture.
If that doesn't work then you may have other issues, as in board problems. Most of the printers out there are economy versions and technical repairs are generally more expensive than just getting a new one. Keep that in mind if you decide to take it to a technician.
