Here is the skinny, if you cannot find the software but still have your mml file all you have to do is download a dos program to convert your file to a csv, comma separated value file. here is the link to the database providers site:
http://vermontdatabase.com/mymail.htm

the program dbport.exe is in the dbport.zip file.
Download it and unzip it in the same folder that has your mml files in it.
Then run the command dbport.exe e oldfilname.mml newfile.csv
Then open the new csv file with excel or a similar database program that will open csv files.
Then copy all the cells that have your addresses.
Paste them into notepad and then you can cut and paste from there. You can import them into outlook as contacts too. This however means you have to set up the importing correctly.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: error code 40402

[Solution # 1]
You will need to go to your Yahoo! Email Account and delete the contact's name there first.

1. Click Contacts from in the toolboxt to open.
2. Go to the contact you wish to remove and click the box next to it.
3. Go to the top of the list and click the Delete button.

Go to Messenger. When your list of Contacts opens, right click next to the name you wish to remove and select Delete from the drop down menu. The contact will be removed here also.
Error Code 40402 pops up when trying to remove a name while in your Yahoo Instant Messenger list first.

[Solution # 2]
Quit the program, then delete the contents of the “Cache”-folder located here:
c:/program files/Yahoo/Messenger/Cache

That usually solves a lot of problems, that occur all of a sudden. Try that and see if it works

[Solution # 3]
most probably a registry error - if you do not have a registry cleaner try downloading the free version of ccleaner from filehippo
once its downloaded select 'registry' from toolbar on left hand side and run 'scan for issues' followed by 'fix selected errors' if errors are detected
use microsoft 'one care' for further check

Hope they could help you
Good luck

SOURCE: Auto-complete of e-mail address doesn't work; can't find contacts by alphabetic order

The setting to enable / disable auto-compete should be in the Options from the main-menu. At least that is where it is on all of my BBs and RIM is not inclined to change for any other BBs -- including the Storm

You probably changed the setting by accident when you found some spare time to look around at all the settings and features. That is how these devices are -- lots of features and a life time to learn them. Thank goodness they do what they do so well and simply too!

Let me know if that does not solve it for you and I can get exact screen shots to find your solution.

SOURCE: I started using Mac Mail

I think you mean adding email address to your account (importing email address), If you've set up the account properly, then there's not much difficultly, just follow the instructions below 1. Open the Address Book application. 2. Choose Import from the File menu. 3. Navigate to the file that you exported from your previous application and select it from the list of files. Tip: if you cannot select the file, the 4. Open button will not pulsate. This may indicate that the file is not in a format that Address Book can read. 5. Click Open. Your addresses (contacts) are now available for use in Address Book and all Mac OS X applications that work with Address Book.
On the other hand if you are importing addresses from previous version, the procedure is little different. Do let me know if you can't do with this. Good luck

Same easy steps can be made for the Calendar: In Outlook select "Save Calendar", for the data range select all and go ahead. You will get a standard iCalendar file (ics) which can be imported into iCal.

In Outlook, you can use the Import and Export Wizard as the interface for Address Book conversion. To convert a WAB file, follow these steps: 1. Start Outlook if it is not currently running. 2. On the File menu, click Import and Export. 3. Select Import Internet Mail and Addresses, and then click Next. 4. Select Outlook Express 4.x, 5 from the list, and then click Next. 5. Select the product for which you wish to convert items from the list, and then click Next. 6. Select any combination of the Mail or Addresses from the items listed.

NOTE: With the exception of rules conversion from Outlook Express, the steps to convert addresses is the same. 7. Click Next. 8. Select a destination for the imported address data. The destination depends on the type of Outlook installation you selected initially. a. The Internet Mail Only installation of Outlook 98 allows only the Contacts folder as the destination. b. The Corporate or Workgroup option allows the options of Personal Address Book or Outlook Contacts. 9. Select the appropriate duplicate items option. Click Finish to complete the import.
Hope that helps..........

Hi There, In the US, getting my yahoo email (using Mail program on a MacBookPro) (yes I have yahoo plus) works like a charm. But here in Canada, most of the time, the password gets rejected... what's give?

To set up access to a free Yahoo! Mail account in Mac OS X Mail:

* Install MacFreePOPs and make sure the freepopsd service is running.
* Select Mail | Preferences... from the menu in Mac OS X Mail.
* Go to the Accounts category.
* Click + at the bottom of the Accounts list.
* Type your name under Full Name:.
* Enter your full Yahoo! Mail address (e.g. "example@yahoo.com") under Email Address:.
* Type your Yahoo! Mail password under Password:.
* Make sure Automatically set up account is not checked.
* Click Continue.
* Make sure POP is selected under Account Type:.
* Enter "Yahoo! Mail" under Account Description:.
* Enter "localhost" (without the quotation marks) under Incoming Mail Server:.
o If you run into problems using "localhost", try "127.0.0.1".
* Type your full Yahoo! Mail address ("example@yahoo.com", for example) under User Name:.
o Mac OS X Mail probably has already entered your user name, and it's enough to append "@yahoo.com" to complete the address.
* Click Continue.
* Click Continue again, ignoring the error. We'll take care of that in a bit.
* Make sure Password is selected under Authentication:.
* Leave Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) unchecked.
* Click Continue.
* Select an existing mail server to send mail under Outgoing Mail Server:.
o You cannot send mail through MacFreePOPs. If you have no outgoing mail server through your ISP, you can use a Gmail or AIM Mail account's.
* Click Continue.
* Now click Create.
* Highlight the Yahoo! Mail account in the Accounts list.
* Go to the Advanced tab.
* Enter "2000" (not including the quotation marks) under Port:.
* Close the Accounts window.
* Click Save.

Access Free Yahoo! Mail with Mac OS X Mail Using IMAP Over IzyMail

* Type your complete Yahoo! Mail address under Email Address:.
* Click Continue.
* Enter "in.izymail.com" (not including the quotation marks) under Incoming Mail Server:.
* Type your full Yahoo! Mail address under User Name:.
o If your Yahoo! Mail address is qwertui@yahoo.com, do type "qwertui@yahoo.com" (omitting the quotation marks).
o Mac OS X Mail probably has already entered the user name for you. If you already find "qwertui" in the User Name: field, just append "@yahoo.com".
* Enter your Yahoo! Mail password under Password:.
* Click Continue.
* Type "out.izymail.com" (without the quotation marks) under Outgoing Mail Server:.
* Make sure Use Authentication is checked.
