The firs hing to do here is goto your Temp folder and delete all files then if you are using ie6 then upgrade to ie7 as AOL is more happy with IE7 run AOL to log in to their server thn minimize AOL explorer then run internet explorer this should bupass their security measures that block you brouwse other sites.

happy webbing.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Unless you have a very fast HDD, the files need to be on a solid state drive. The other option is to have enough installed RAM so the HDD is not accessed.

Laptop Crashing

When does this happen? Is it happening when you try to boot the computer up? Is it happening while windows is up and running?

Since this is happening in your Locals folder i think it is a virus or infection. Try booting up into safe mode then download and run MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode With Networking option (this will give you internet connectivity) and let it boot up. Safe Mode will look different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this is normal. Open your internet browser, then download and install MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download and install malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When the site opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do not click the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the Gui Interface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version or Decline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run a QUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be in red. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad text document will open up showing you the results. You can close the text document and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTED RESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When it finishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot your machine.

I have a C3 Music XPC computer. It keeps crashing after start up. I have tried the Acronis factory restore and the problem continues. I suspect that the problem is not software oriented. I am...

Hello Jason,

Easy fix. Reboot your computer by restarting it. As soon as the power starts, keep pressing the DEL key until you get the BIOS menu. If that does not bring up the BIOS menu, try pressing the ESCAPE [ESC] key when first powering up. Keep pressing those keys until the system bios menu appears.
When it does, locate the "LOAD OPTIMAL SETTINGS" and SAVE & EXIT.
There must be a switch in the bios that is turned on that is causing a conflict.

Those files that you mentioned are log files and memory dumps that can be used to diagnose any problems that you are having.

The web site for the computer is http://www.musicxpc.com/

But they do not have a support page up and running right now, maybe you can e-mail them with one of the contacts on their contact page, that is available.

Also, since this is my first "HELP" that I have offered here, please consider giving me a good rating for taking the time to help you out. Who knows maybe I will be helping out more in the future? :-)
Thanks,
